It is a weird place, mostly unkept being covered with crab grass. Doesn’t get much use beyond dog owners given the amount of poop and poop bags. Dogs often roam free, without much supervision, and attack each others but I guess “they are just being friendly.” A couple of golfers practice everyday littering the place with balls, many of them chopped by lawnmowers. It’ll take thousands of years for nature to decompose those chopped golf balls. Occasionally there is a kite or some folks playing volleyball but it’s mostly empty. My take would be to use this prime real estate location to build social housing for the many essential workers who can’t afford to live on the island.

WOW! It was absolutely gorgeous here! We attended the last day celebration at the Inkwell site in Waban Park. EVERYONE was totally happy, friendly and welcoming! There was plenty of free food, deserts and beverages. There were about 5 of us from our group who attended and we plan to definitely attend again in 2023! The area was clean, the air was refreshing and the water was inviting but it was on the cold side so we didn't venture in ☺️. If you're in the area stop in for a relaxing and peaceful place! 😄

Great place to sit and admire the views! We visited by cruise and walked to the Jaws bridge then rested here on our return before heading back to our ship. A lovely huge open space!

A wonderful open field overlooking the ocean. Great spanse to play with your pet, have a great view and lots of privacy at the beach. Have a picnic and gaze across the water to America (the mainland). On a clear day you can almost touch Hyannisport. Ringed by beautiful summer "cottages". Very walkable area with few cars getting in the way. Waban Park is a secret gem...
