Worst decision to buy split mattresses for a young married couple and no help from the store or customer service to exchange it! So very disappointed to be stuck with this purchase and writing this after over the year of initial purchase, because every day we have to sleep in this bed and have a gap between us. It is literally affecting our married life. My husband purchased split California king mattresses with the functional system convinced by the sales person it’s the best investment ever having in mind the price was over 13K! What was not disclosed that the mattresses would move and create a big gap! When we first bought it I had only one fitted sheet. We felt the split in the middle. Then we had a lot of traveling and when we finally focused on the home life I purchased additional sheets for each mattress. That is when we learned about a big disadvantage of it the split mattresses Unfortunately it was slightly pass 6 months of their return policy, but still close to a purchase date. I was convinced the customer service would assist us and exchange the mattresses to one full California king matress. Unfortunately only the case number was given over the phone and no action. So I visited the store and spoke with the manager there. He also advised to deal with the customer service or to buy t shape add on to put in the middle because he said there was nothing he could assist me with. I asked to exchange not return, even offered to accept shipping fees just to be happy with such an expensive purchase. Unfortunately after multiple attempts to reach customer service again and talk with a different person each time no help was offered. I did a research and discovered that there were so many bad reviews about extremely poor customer service. So just my genuine advise not to be fooled by mesmerizing advertisements to buy the most comfy Matress on earth, the biggest disappointment that such a big company would not help you out to have a raving fan customer, having in mind you can buy 13 mattresses for that price, I though we had customer service behind our back by making such a purchase, but I was so wrong! I wish the manager of the store could have taken an extra step and would be willing to assist, but the money made of us was more important than integrity of the brand and customer...
Read more7/17/21-Our salesman, Bob was very knowledgeable and awesome! 9/1/2021- Update. If it were possible to give ZERO stars, I certainly would. I am so disappointed with the poor customer service I received from Tempur-Pedic, especially this flagship store in Oakbrook IL, under the leadership of the manager. Shane. I purchased the ProBreeze on 7/17/21 and it was finally delivered while I was out of town on 8/7/21. Approximately one week later a service crew came back to my home because the bed was set up MUCH too low. Additionally, the adjustable base stopped working with the head and foot of bed elevated. I do want to mention that I spoke with the store manager, Shane who was gracious enough to assist with with getting a team out to my home. This team came to my home on 8/21/21 and basically stated they did not know what was wrong with the base but that I needed a new one. They said some of their bases do this. I was told by these servicemen that I would need to wait to hear from some IT company who would be coming to assess the bed. Did I mention I was out of town when the bed was delivered? Therefore, I had only slept in the bed maybe 4 times before the base stopped working. Given that, I did not want a fixed or refurbished frame, I wanted a new one. Hey, I don’t pay $5.000 for a bed everyday, so I want it right which should be too much to ask.
So, here we are on September 1st and still no new base with the head and foot still elevated. I have spoken with the store manager Shane twice and he has frankly blown me off. Although I loved the mattress, I have been in communication with the customer service department to initiate the process of having the bed and frame returned.

Shopping on a busy Saturday, we walked into the Oakbrook Flagship store! What fortunate luck! The store is a beautiful, comfortable showroom that invites you to explore all products and options. And while that can be a little overwhelming in a world of mattress features, our real luck came in finding JOSH! This very personable representative greeted us at the door and took the time to assess our needs to make the best recommendations. Josh is extremely knowledgeable about the Termpur-pedic products. He answered every question we had, and even mastered the finesse of building on our conversation to assure our product selection. All this while (and here’s the real challenge- it’s a mattress store! And, yes! A consumer does have to test the mattress to make the best choice!) we were stretched out on hygienic mattress covers trying it out. Josh explained to understand the new cooling feature of the Tempur-pedic really required a ten minute test. So we enjoyed a short, relaxing rest while Josh continued to answer all our questions.
