Cozy little park with a pond and a nice floating stage hidden behind the office buildings at Rt-83 & 22nd St. The parking lot is very small and it fills up really fast during summer night concert events. If you're attending a concert, make sure you park behind REI's back parking lot. They have a door built into the fence at the end of the parking lot, which they keep open during the concerts. Read moreAttended our family reunion here over this past weekend and the park was the perfect place! There were over 150 people and we parked in the parking garage on the lower level. We took advantage of the baseball field and I scored the first point!
There was a grey spider that hopped in my leg at the park so beware of the wildlife. A couple of people within my group had spider bites but I'm not sure if they came from the park or the hotel.
Overall I highly recommend! We had portapotties, didn't see a open restroom...
Read moreThe playground has recently gone through a renovation, and it's really great. Nice soft surface and new equipment. The sidewalk near the floating stash has been re-done. The City of Oakbrook Terrace hosts concerts on Friday nights during the summer, so the stage is being put to good use.
The path around the lake can get muddy, and you usually have to dodge the goose poop. There's a covered picnic area with grills and a built-in cornhole game.
