Jenna's Beauty Bar — Attraction in Oak Harbor

Jenna's Beauty Bar is located in a quaint shared clinic. The communal waiting room is comfortable and the receptionist is very nice. Jenna's parlor is extremely clean and tidy, it's feels like a little oasis from the chaos of my life. Jenna herself is immaculatly groomed, friendly and professional. She has a very welcoming demeanor and I feel extremely comfortable with her. I've seen her twice for a lash lift and tint. She really cares about giving you a great experience. Jenna is a perfectionist and always goes above and beyond to achieve the very best results. For example my left lashes are difficult. The best curling mascaras do nothing and even bougie heated lash curlers can't give me a lasting lift. I genuinely dislike how it impacts my makeup. I felt like I was just wasting my time. I explained this to Jenna and she was absolutely determined to beat them into submission. When they didn't come out how she wanted the first time, she did them again. They still stubbornly refused to stay lifted so she made time the next day to fix them. Third time's a charm! They turned out ahhhmazing and I felt so pretty on my vacation. As far as waxing and sugaring.... I'm a bit of a pest. I don't like hair except for on my head and my eyebrows. So I have a lot of experience with Jenna's waxing and sugaring skills and techniques. She is as gentle as you can possibly be when doing your brazillian. She does an excellent full brazillian and you will be hairless! I also have full waxing of my face with the exception of my eyebrows.

I got my first Brazilian sugar with Jenna this week as a trial run for my wedding in the fall and it was one of the most satisfying experiences (beauty wise) I've ever had. I was very nervous going into the appointment because I had never gotten any waxing or hair removal done prior to this. It can be very uncomfortable/embarrassing going into a situation where you have to be so physically vulnerable and exposed and anxiety from anticipated pain does not help that! While I can't say it was pain free, Jenna was amazing at making sure to see explain everything she was going to be doing and minimizing the pain I felt.
