My Cappuccino was as mediocre as the customer service provided by the cashier. I visited yesterday at around 1500. I needed to feed my baby so we stopped by this Starbucks and asked the lady at the till if she could put my bottle in the Microwave. Answer was they didn’t have a microwave. I felt the lady was really annoyed and bothered by my request. Her tone was passive aggressive for the rest of the conversation. Although Her tone did not convey any willingness to help I had to feed my baby so i asked her if she could give me some hot water instead. She then offered to give me some tap water at 100 degrees. I said yes not realizing she was talking Fahrenheit and not Celsius. I then saw her warming up some tap water in a brick that could not exactly be defined as clean and when i touched the cup she gave me I realized it was 36 Celsius degrees. I then asked her if she could warm up the water I had in the baby bottle and she said she couldn’t take liquids and repeated twice that their water is triple filtered looking at me like I was some kind of idiot. so this type of idiot had to explain to this Starbucks employee that water filters do not remove bacteria but just minerals hence that water would not be safe for my baby. I then came up with the solution of buying bottled water from her and have her warm it up. This whole thing summed up with the fact that she served other customers first Took me 25 minutes to get my order and some water for my baby that was waiting to be Fed in the car with my husband. Now i just arrived here from Europe where there is a big family culture and a high sense of respect for babies and pregnant women. The respect is so high that they get served first wherever they go and everybody is so helpful and kind. I was not expecting the same treatment I am used to but at least to be treated with the respect owed to a paying customer. My husband and I will be on the island for a while but def will not stop at this...
Read moreThis store doesn't deserve even 1 star. 3x this week, I went to this location for iced Earl Grey tea. First time, it was just bags in ice water. Not brewed and all. I returned it and they brought back an acceptable product. Second time, same thing. I asked for them to actually make tea and pour it over ice, but it seemed like a real challenge for them. How hard is it to make iced tea for crying out loud. Third time, almost the same thing, but it was slightly brewed and had some color. Not much though. I sent it back and had to wait out of line. They brought the tea back slightly darker, but had to send them back for a straw. One taste and I almost gagged. It wasn't Earl Grey, to be sure. I called the store and got some snot who claimed to be the manager. She was about as helpful as a trained worm. I told her I thought that I wouldn't come back. She told me that was just fine. I'm like what? Then she turned nasty and hung up.
Now part of this story is about price. I've ordered 3 identical teas this last week and had three different prices. I asked the manager about that and she said she was charging the right price, that Starbucks doesn't train it's people how to charge for product. Really. Well, they certainly don't train their managers about customer service. Or how to make iced tea.
So I called the home office. I got someone with a terrible accent who talked over everything I had to say. I demanded a supervisor, but she kept blabbing. Finally had to hang up out of frustration.
Welcome to the new world order. Where no one knows how to prepare their product, what to charge and how to effectively deal with customer's issues. Real simple solutions could have ended this problem, but ignorance and attitude issues made things...
Read moreNight and day service. Went two days in a row using the drive-thru. 1st visit, Saturday was great. Great service, friendly young lady took my order, coffee and egg bites. My order was quick. I asked for a stopper, no problem. In and out within 6 minutes. Sunday, the next day, and ordered coffee and a protein box. 2 vehicles took 6 minutes just to get their order. Then the next vehicle another 4 minutes. I'm up next. Already 10 minutes passes since I placed my order. Not even a "I'll be right with you." Then I had to wait another 2 minutes while she took an order. Mind you, pulling up, I can see my order waiting for me by the window. Finally, the lady comes to the window, not even a sorry or thank you for waiting, just how much I owe. I pay and ask for a receipt. Finally, I got my order. I again had to ask for a stopper and, this time, a sleeve. After all, I am driving. She hands me a topper and explains they only give sleeves to venti orders. Really?? I didn't ask for an explanation. When the heck this started? Oh, today was the first time I did not add a tip. You were absolutely TERRIBLE service, I'm NOT impressed with this morning Sunday crew. Next time, I'm going to Cafe De Lisio. Out of my way, but I'll take that for service with a smile, and I...
