Art Fusion Galleries — Attraction in Oakland Park

Art Fusion has had galleries in Wynwood and St. Petersburg. They moved from Wynwood to Oakland Park a little over a year ago. I wanted to check it out for awhile now and I finally got the chance during the Small Biz Saturday Local Makers Market.

Art Fusion represents artists Albert Schmindbauer, Alia, Axel. Lefrancais, Anna Meyster, Rachel Ruff, Stefano Sanna, Hadley, Joshua Wingerter, Linda Stella, Brett Cimino, Pedno, Dalima, Tia Crystal, William Braemer, Hien, Lenore D. Robins and more.

The gallery is very spacious with multiple rooms of whimsical, contemporary pieces. William Braemer's Power House sculpture made out of 350 thousand discontinued Canadian pennies was especially eye catching. It sells for $50,000. Such a stunning gallery! I love the ambiance, the culture, and diversity of different artwork. From small paintings, to MASSIVE paintings, to sculptures, to furniture made out of pennies - there’s something for everyone. You could spend all day in there and still walk through another time and see something you missed. I first went for an open gallery night (highly recommend!!) and was overtaken by all the beautiful artwork on the walls that I missed most of the sculptures. I came back a couple days later and did another walk through. I’ve been back a few times since then and have a few pieces I’m eyeing. Decisions, decisions on which to invest in! Everyone in the gallery has been extremely nice and welcoming while never making me feel pressured to buy or hovering over me while I stroll through like some other galleries I’ve been to in the past.
