I have to leave a bad review because this was either the result of bad business practices,or the result of several mistakes. I ordered a surprise bag from an app called Too Good To Go. The idea of the app is simple: You sell your unsold leftovers or excess inventory, at a big discount, at the end of the day, so it does not goes to waste. They are offering a Surprise Bag “containing a selection of meats and cheeses!” for $5.99. What the APP and the customers expect is quite literally just a bunch of random items put into one or more containers, in this case these items being related to things you expect in a charcutterie board (thats what the title of the item is). However, what I got was a collection of tiny cups with a sample of a sample,of a basic charcutterie board. I can literally count the pieces of everything: 2 tiny cubes of cheese, 4 small slices of a sausage, 5 olives, about 15 almonds, 5 small pieces of strawberry (that would make 1 1/2 strawbery) and 3 thin slices of bread. Now… in a bar/restaurant setting, I would be barely ok paying $6 for this, and even then, I would expect more meats. But, in the case of an offering for Too Good To Go, this is nothing short of a scam. Its not leftovers, its not discounted. I hope it’s a mistake from the employee for not understanding what should be serving, or from the owner not understanding the concept that is clearly disclosed on the app, because this trully feels like a regular menu item priced as normal for a dine-in, not a Too...
Read moreI, too, placed an order on the "too good to go" app. But, what I received was anything but "too good to go." I'd never thought to leave a review here since the "too good to go" app has their own matrix. However, I was so disheartened with the shreds of lettuce, 5 cubes of cheese, few crackers, and 4 slices of salami that I received yesterday that I had to read other reviews about this place. I think the premise that this bar is using on the app is to lure people in for a glass of wine. (Because I was asked if I wanted a glass while I waited ... to put together those few items) But, you're advertising on the wrong type of app. That being said, the bartender was extremely pleasant, and the place looked really interesting. In any other circumstances, i might have really enjoyed my experience. However, trickery is NOT one of them. Save that for October. The responses from management seem to blame the various bartenders. Please, do us all a favor and don't blame your staff. The buck stops with YOU. There are plenty of other platforms in which to advertise to drum up business. However, in my opinion, you chose the wrong one. Please don't do this to people. YOU waste our time. YOU waste our gas. YOU waste our money, and YOU are being counterproductive to the purpose of the app and what you are really trying to accomplish. That is how I felt when I opened my box....
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Rebel Wine Bar in Fort Lauderdale and I have to say, it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was simply delightful - cozy yet sophisticated, with dim lighting and a great selection of music that set the perfect mood for a night out.
But what really made my evening was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and treated with great care throughout our meal. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and made some excellent recommendations from the menu that really added to our overall dining experience.
And of course, I can't forget to mention the wine! Rebel Wine Bar boasts an impressive selection of wines from all over the world, and the sommelier was happy to help us navigate the menu and find the perfect bottle to complement our meal.
All in all, I had a truly enjoyable evening at Rebel Wine Bar and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great atmosphere, fantastic service, and of course, some delicious...
