This is a popular park near the entrance to lake Merritt. It was recently rebuilt by local neighbors after a massive fundraising effort a few years ago, so the party structures are relatively new and clean.
It's in between the entrance to lake Merritt and the Saturday farmers market at Lakeshore ave. So it's a good place to take the kids after going to the market or checking out lake Merritt.
