Do not go to this place? 2 out of 3 workers were very rude. I took a large amount of 100% organic cotton clothes and they didn’t take most of it. This was not a big deal but I asked why out of curiosity and the woman, I believe it was the owner or manager, said “ we only accept nice brands”. Apparently Burt’s bees in a poor brand but all of the gap products they had were top of the line. It was the rudeness that was totally unnecessary.

I asked another employee about a price for a book because I have poor vision and he rudely said that books everywhere have the price listed in the same place. He said this with a very condescending tone. I explained that I have bad eyesight and the only nice woman working there helped me.

I don’t know if they are rude to everyone or if it was racially motivated but they made me feel very unwelcome. The only reason I think it could have been racially motivated is because they were very nice to all the Caucasian customers and I was the only person of color doing shopping.

Whatever their reasons, they were not nice people.

Silver Moon is a resale shop of new and used items for children's clothing. Looking at the storefront from the street, there is a well-kept garden bed with some ornamental plants. Also, there is a window arrangement with some teddy bears at a tea party. On the sidewalk there is a $1 rack with assorted clothing.

The main focus is new stylish clothing for children up to size 8. There are also shoes, hats, books, trinkets, and toys. There are fairy accessories, and hoola hoops. It is a great place to buy a gift for a child.

I had a very bad experience. I went in here to find some baby clothes when I was 7 months pregnant , the lady that I think runs the store came up to me & asked if I was shopping for a gift for someone else. I told her no I’m pregnant and she asked me if I needed help looking for anything & I told her no again. She proceeded to talk really loud & stand there watching me and my boyfriend.
