The Ocala Escape — Attraction in Ocala

So this was the second time we visited Ocala Escape and it did not disappoint. The 1st time we did the hardest room and failed to complete it😏. Abby was our guide thru the process and she was awesome in helping us with the clues and we got further in the room with her clues than we would have alone. She was such a pleasure to have as a guide and the experience was absolutely amazing so we decided to go back and try a different room. We chose the Enchanted Emporium Room, we signed up for a time, got there, walked thru the door and there was Abby standing behind the counter😀. We laughed and joked with her for a few minutes and was so happy to see her it was like a mini reunion. Yes, she was our guide for the 2nd time, imagine that lol. The Enchanted Room was so amazing and the decor was spot on. The steps from one clue to the next were tough but clearly understandable & moderately easy to complete if you work together and use your guide for help. Again, Abby was simply amazing, she helped a lot less this time bcuz we had experience, we took our time and had help from Heaven our third person and she was able to see what we could not, so, shot out to Heaven for doing such an awesome job. On June 29, 2024 we visited Ocala escape room and it was an experience that kept us engaged. It was our first escape room experience, however we decided on The Cabin in the woods a 4/5 difficulty room, needless to say we did not escape but overall the experience was fun, amazing and a great challenge. Our host "ABBY" was great from the time we walked inside the facility. She was thorough explaining the rules and when we needed assistance, she never left us hanging. We were a little disappointed we didn't escape but Abby explained the difficulty level of the room and assured us we did as well as most participants and it was a pleasure conversing with her afterwards. Thank you " ABBY", and we'll definitely be visiting for another mind challenging experience. My suggestion is, if it's your first time, go with the Magical enchantment room. Abby see you soon...

SO CLOSE!! Paige was awesome and had a good laugh with us. The Cabin in the Woods was awesomely decorated. Definitely worth it!

The downside is that we got one of the clues right but the system wasn’t working, so we lost 20 mins of time on that. Finally, they had to come in to help and confirmed it wasn’t working. We probably could’ve finished in the time it took and no time was added to our game.

Update: The owner, Cory, reached out and rectified the situation. He was so kind and willing to make it up to us. I feel confident that any problem someone may experience in the future would be handled differently by the staff.
