Ice Cream King — Restaurant in Ocala

I brought my 2 year old daughter in here for first time today. We patiently waited behind another family of 3 while one young man helped them. A young girl came walking in with two friends and she immediately went behind the counter, went to the computer to I assume clock in for her shift. She put on a pair of gloves, then put her hair into a pony tail ( disgusting!!) and proceed to serve her friends while skipping over my daughter and I who had already been waiting for at least 5 minutes now. When she came near I quietly said to her it’s very rude to skip over a customer who was waiting and has a 2 year old…. She laughed in my face. And asked what I wanted without changing her gloves or washing her hands at ANYTIME since entering the store. I told her I would wait for the the other guy working to serve us. I left a VERY high tip for him a specifically asked him not to split the tip. Terrible and...

Ice cream great. We only go for the milkshakes… unfortunately for a place that closes at 10 & 11 pm they consistently inform us that the “blenders have already been cleaned” and most times they still have 45 mins (give or take) until they close. They are unwilling to make us a milkshake and don’t even apologize for the inconvenience. When we go early enough to get one it’s obvious that the staff get annoyed by having to make a milkshake all together… sorry but you work at an ice cream place. The girl is the worst, she’s very rude about it and doesn’t even greet costumers. She meets you at the counter and stares at you until you tell her what you want. I understand the staff want to get out on time but if you say you’re open then be open, it’s not like food is served there and you have a...

The elderly lady I take care of and myself have been to this ice cream shop several times and had no complaints. That is until the last 2 times we tried to go. The 1st time they had the place sprayed for bugs so had to close for a couple hours, but did not put a sign on the door stating closed and the open sign was on so we got out went to the door to be informed no one could come in for at least 3 hours. Then today we pull into the parking lot, make sure the sign says open and as we are getting out of the car I see a guy hang a sign on the door that states closed for lunch (2:10 pm) and turns the inside light off but leaves the open sign on.
