Perkins Cove Drawbridge — Attraction in Ogunquit

The Perkins Cove drawbridge I visited a few times it's quite an amazing sight I've walked up the stairs and onto the bridge and looked out at the boats what a view the bridge is still functioning lifting up and down to allow the boats in and out it's constructed out of wood and cables that raise it and lower it the bridge is lit up at night so you can safely walk on it there is a loud Bell. Perkins cove is a quaint little shopping and eating area in Ogunquit Maine. Plenty of great little shops for souvenirs and gifts. The foot bridge spans the cove inlet. When a sailboat is on its way out of, or into the marina, whomever happens to be on or near the bride presses the button to open up. When the boat is safely past, you can then close the bridge.
