Lobster Point Lighthouse is a picturesque spot with stunning ocean views, ideal for photography and peaceful walks. The area is well-maintained, with a charming coastal vibe that perfectly represents Maine's beauty. The path around the lighthouse offers fantastic vantage points, especially at sunrise or sunset. However, parking can be challenging during peak times, and it might get crowded with tourists. Despite these minor inconveniences, it’s a must-visit location for anyone exploring Ogunquit, blending history, nature, and relaxation in one scenic destination.

I had hoped there would have been a way to get closer to actual lighthouse I only had my cell phone for pictures. The small harbor was charming parking for at least 40 cars, we got lucky and got a spot. Not handicap accessible to get to placards/history information as they & benches were on very large rocks, railings would be most helpful in this location. I did notice behind us we're 2 restaurants if you wanted a quaint destination to have a quiet meal. Lobster men were bringing in their traps, very interesting.

This sits on top of "marginal way" and there are about 6-7 parking spots only nearby so that will be a bit of pain. One option is to park in one of the parking lots in the main ogunquit area but they are costly (like $20). We tried our luck by going around a few times and found a place luckily. The place is breathtaking and not to be missed at any cost. The breeze was lovely even with the rainy weather. The walk here is so calm and peaceful, it relaxes your soul. There are many benches where you can sit and relax.

This is one lovely spot to spend a few minutes, or a few hours, depending upon your schedule and need. Famous as one of Maine's best lookouts, where you can see whales in summer and all kinds of sea birds in winter. We enjoyed watching beautiful harlequin ducks, black scoters, great cormorants, and many more species. The wind was whipping up big waves after a day earlier storm but it also brought the birds closer to shore for viewing. Just bundle up and get out there!

Marginal Way in Ogunquit, Maine is a very easy walk to enjoy. It is one of New England’s most beloved scenic coastal walks. It is one of the most peaceful and serene places to explore, and it’s an excellent way to spend the day in Ogunquit. Along the walk, you will get breathtaking views of the ocean. There are plentiful benches along the walk to sit down and take in the beautiful sights. Pack a lunch and pick a scenic spot and enjoy the sea!

It's more of a top 🔝 portion of a lighthouse without the light. It doesn't even light up at night. What makes it interesting is it is at a possible halfway point for Marginal Way trail. That trail is awesome! The lighthouse is located on Stearns Rd. Limited 3 hour parking 🅿️ spaces available. One parking spot for the handicapped ♿. Dedication plate and donation box on the side. Yes, I made a donation!
