I’ve been going to Advanced Aesthetics for 9 years. They have always provided excellent services and even better customer service. They recently relocated and also hired more people (which is always fantastic). However, this minor change has drastically changed their customer service. I understand that companies are constantly evolving and hence nothing is stagnant but their new attitude leaves a lot to be desired.
I usually call in on the day or a day before for an appointment and they have almost ALWAYS been accommodating. If for some reason they were unable to accommodate me, they always called back to reschedule. It’s this tiny act of kindness and consideration that resulted in my loyalty to them.
The last time I called, the lady told me I needed to call two weeks in advance. I mentioned how they have graciously squeezed me in the past. I even request being waitlisted in the event of a cancellation. I could audibly hear her irritation. Her condescending tone was the cherry on top to a very painful interaction. I obviously never got a call back. I finally called back on a later date and requested an appointment a week out.
My appointment went well. The aesthetician was very thorough and I told her I really appreciated it. When I go to pay, the price went from $100 to $175. I asked the front desk lady why was it significantly higher. I told her I’ve had the same procedure for nine years and the price had steadily gone up but this was a huge jump. She clearly felt very annoyed by my existence and her condescending tone, aggravated body language along with the tossing of my credit card-all made me realize I never wanted to be there again. Read moreA couple months ago I went in for laser hair removal on my face. The nurse seemed very distracted and in a rush. She asked me what areas I wanted to be done, didn't say anything against it and then started. She went so fast and the only comment she made was that some hair on my temples would probably be removed, I said that was fine. When we finished she immediately started walking out the room and just said "book your next appt" I went to go look in the mirror and she literally burned off my eyebrows. Not one, but TWO of them. A significant chunk on the left eyebrow and the top of the right one. In utter shock I asked her about it and she said "I told you." She in fact did not tell me anything and I would have never consented to this if she would've told me there was a risk of removing my eyebrows or she wasn't comfortable doing it. It's my face for goodness sake!! She didn't apologize or try to help in any way, she just repeated I told you and don't forget to book your next appt which was so inappropriate being what just happened. I walked out so shocked and angry that this place charges such a high premium and the quality and service is so horrid. I had to call the manager and she said she would talk to the nurse before getting my story, in hind sight I'm glad she did because her story did not match up with what happened. As I told the manager my eyebrows are ruined and she asked what she should do, I said obviously a full refund would be appropriate. Read moreI’ve been getting my lips done by Lindsey Willey at Advanced Aesthetics for about 4 years now. She came highly recommended to me from a woman I met who had the most stunning lips I’ve ever seen. Lindsey is a facial magician, seriously. She has done my anti wrinkle injections, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and of course my lips. Lips are one of the most challenging parts of the face to get 100% accurate, because any slight error can ruin the face, in my opinion. So I only trust Lindsey with my lips, period! Plus she’s an absolute angel in person. So friendly, warm, reassuring and calming. She’s the best nurse to have poking you in the face with a needle. 🤣
Now onto the front office staff- professionalism and warm, welcoming atmosphere is off the chart here. Molly, in particular, is my favorite of all. She is the most kind hearted person and she is so thorough in ensuring all your needs are met and that you receive your credits from any procedures you’ve had done with the rewards program (this is a money saver, y’all)! She’s the absolute best!
Seriously every time I’m there everyone does a wonderful job in making me feel special and important. Top notch customer service goes such a long way with me.
