WOW, JUST WOW. The absolute complete and TOTAL LACK of service courtesy is PARAMOUNT!! After waiting for well over 5 mins trying to get one of the bar staff....ANYONE behind the bar to even make eye contact with me, I resorted to vocally make contact. At which after being COMPLETELY IGNORED my 3rd attempt proved to be successful....while waiting I spoke to the gentleman to my left who informed me he had been waiting OVER 15 MINS and NO ONE NOT ONE PERSON HAD EVEN ACKNOWLEDGED HIS PRESENCE?!? Were they a but busy....absolutely! Does it take a meer second to acknowledge a patron and inform them you will be right with them, ABSOLUTELY!!! I'm honestly just dumbfounded by the whole experience. I'm sure their alcohol sales would be substantially higher if someone could actually order a drink! Even after we sat on the patio, it was well over an hour and a half until we were ever approached by a waitress for a drink. At which point we had already had another gentleman in our group to yet AGAIN WAIT WELL OVER 10 MINUTES to get another drink. Frustrated, we left. So in 3 1/2 hours, we got to have TWO drinks. When speaking with the table next to us at the patio they shared a similar experience with us and said they had started ordering 2 at a time to even attempt to keep up but that usually meant by the time they were ready to start drinking the next one it was watered down or their beers Luke warm. 🤷🏻♀️ I will say the atmosphere is fantastic, patrons were nice, and none of the staff was dilly dallying around. Everyone was working diligently. However, that does not excuse the way they treated us all. I forgot to mention prior to my video documented interaction with the female bartender. I had already experienced similar treatment on the front side of the bar from the 2 male bartenders. 😡 In conclusion, at the very least, this establishment is VASTLY UNDERSTAFFED and could DEFINITELY use some training sessions on basic common courtesy! We would not have had more drinks, ordered food, and definitely would have stayed longer. As would have multiple other people who left early for the same reasons. We even told other friends who were going to come over as well to go somewhere else because it's was too hard to get...
Read morehave to leave one star to write a review, so here it is. I've been in the service industry before so I am understanding of most things even sub par service on busy nights; But when me and two of my business associates show up for drinks on a Saturday night, and we get no service, its upsetting. we walk in and there is a table right in the middle that we watched the people leave, so we sit there and wait over 15 minutes for someone to come by. No one came by, so we figured its maybe because there are empty glasses and they think we already had drinks, so we clean our own table off and put the glasses on the bench by our table. After waiting for another 30-40 minutes and watching the waiters (which we could only count two) walk right by and serve all the ladies around us, we got up to leave. which is a loss for the sidecar because we go out consistently, have larger tabs, and tip very well, and are loyal to certain places. Sadly this place did not live up to our expectations and we will probably never go back. Such a waste because the spot is really cool and we loved the atmosphere. The system just needs to be tweaked, which starts with management changing the processes...
Read moreI have been to both Sidecar locations numerous times. I am a frequent guest. On our visit this evening, we had two friends from out of town that we wanted to show a good time. We choose Sidecar due to the weather and great outdoor space. Tonight's experience was the first negative time we have ever encountered. We were sitting near the bar and could not get service. We stopped several employees and still unable to obtain service or a drink. My group is a lawyer, military major, general manager and business owner. We then stopped a young lady and asked for drinks. She was very rude and seemed annoyed to take our order. We then approached her and asked if we should contact our own waitress because she seemed annoyed. She then shooed me off and waved her hand in my face. I was told by a nice gentlemen that the females name was Whitney. She had dark hair with loose, long braids. I pay to come to a classy bar for a reason and this bitchy and pretentious atmosphere will ruin this bar is...
