Sky Rink at Scissortail Park — Attraction in Oklahoma City

Unfortunately I am sorely disappointed in this venue. We booked a bday party here and the mgmt is the most disorganized I’ve ever experienced. I had to stalk/email for 3 weeks to get a call to finalize our details. If that wasn’t enough, when we got there no tent was set up at the designated 3:30pm time & the staff seemed to have no idea about our booking. And then....the experience. The “workers” - there were about 6 - were on their phones the entire time and were not helping the kids experience a roller rink like you typically see EVERYWHERE else. They did limbo once & red light/green light once... and when I asked if they could do more games, they said they don’t “have anymore.” Wow. I asked that they just repeat it, and the workers barely looked up from their phones in dismay to obliged ONE more limbo game. No one else was there except our 15 person party. Some people did eventually walk up, but stayed less than half an hour themselves. It just isn’t a noteworthy experience. I reallllllly want this business to excel - it could be a really fun element of the park - but they will go under if they don’t make changes. And I paid extra for this? I hope my son...

If your an avid skater - this rink isn’t for you.

I brought my daughter (age 6) down to Sky Rink this afternoon for some fun and something different. Once we got there, we ended up deciding not to even go and went to the park instead. It was not a “rink” whatsoever, it was literally a rubber pad, with holes. I think this rink would be really great for young kids who don’t know how to skate or are just learning. It is definitely not big enough to have adults skating too.

I am hoping someone sees this review and takes a look on how they can better this rink for those skaters who are skilled. I think the idea is amazing, would just love to see more effort put into...

On a busy Saturday I was walking through the park with my family. My three year old daughter had to go to the bathroom as we were walking back from the bridge so we went into the men’s bathroom here.

There was a homeless man washing his clothes in the sink and shaving at the same time.

After taking my daughter to the bathroom and very awkwardly washing her hands in the sink next to his dirty laundry I told the two young men who were sitting inside the room with the window, next to the bathroom, where you rent the skates…and they just shrugged…I have seen no security at the park the handful of times that I...
