Scissortail Park in Oklahoma City is a true gift to the community, setting a new standard for what an urban park can accomplish. Through its vibrant calendar of free concerts, Scissortail Park has created a dynamic stage where people from all walks of life can gather, enjoy live music, and experience the power of arts without barriers. These events have done wonders to foster cultural growth, transforming the park into the city’s cultural heartbeat and providing both emerging and acclaimed artists—from local talent to national acts—a beautiful, accessible venue. The park itself is stunning: meandering paths, gardens alive with native blooms, playgrounds buzzing with families, and the iconic Skydance Bridge offering incredible city views. On concert nights, the Great Lawn comes alive as music carries over the green, connecting people in moments of shared joy and belonging. Scissortail Park proves that free, inclusive programming can ignite a city’s spirit, nurture creativity, and make arts and culture accessible to all. Its contribution to the city goes far beyond entertainment—Scissortail Park is truly a cornerstone of Oklahoma City’s...

Great park to visit with grandson and my daughter! Gson enjoyed climbing things and going down the tall slide. Water was turned off inspection kids usually run through, but had they been on Gson would have been soaked too because he loves them! My daughter enjoyed her coffee from a food truck vendor (sorry, forgot to take memo of the truck.) Also, my Gson had French Vanilla ice cream made fresh the night before from coconut milk! (Per the vendor at JustDessertsOKC, which I would not have remembered had he not requested a follow on Instagram. Smart!) My grandson had never had coconut milk before and was AMAZED at the flavor. After insisting I try it, I'm...

It’s a nice place for families and kids.. it has been renovated.. You need to be careful during summer because it’s too hot and the sun might hurt you..

Loved ones can put locks on the bridges.. but be careful because you might fall into the street.. don’t be crazy, and remember that their are some people who care about you..

You can do kayaking, buy food from a cafe or from food trucks, picnic, play with the water and many other activities..

It’s food for pets and for walking.. you’ll have great time with your beloved ones.

The only thing I didn’t like was the restrooms, they were so dirty with a very bad smell, and no water to wash...

This HUGE, beautifully landscaped & designed park was such a gem in the city! Plenty of space & activities to do. A ton of people, but still didn't feel crowded because there are different park activities perfectly spaced. Park rangers on dune buggies were open spotted as well. Family restroom was stocked(toilet paper, soap & paper towels, but definitely not very clean! Parking for the splash pad was terrible, you can park across the street at convention center for $10, or parallel park on the other side of the bridge for free & take about .25 mile walk across the bridge & metal scissors. Many padlocks on the bridge that was really neat to see!

So this park is definitely a favorite of ours. This js were we sat and did our 'tiny foods'. ✨Gigantic slides. ✨Climbing obstacles. Spider 🙀 Be aware. ✨Sand box. ✨Water scenes--rafts boats | side view-water creatures. ✨Food shop(shops) ✨On the weekends perhaps different booths set up. ✨Great for exercise. ✨Often see dogs here so perhaps, there is a dog park near. ✨Kid rock climb ✨Kid hills 🙃 NO swings ✨Bring a lock you may want to make a memory on the ✂scissor✂tail 🌉bridge. 💑 ✨Water park ✨Skate area ✨Restroom with plug outlets ✨Not picnic friendly but you can bring lunch -&- sit down.
