Oklahoma City Union Station — Attraction in Oklahoma City

Historic old Union Station @ Scissortail Park in OKC is about to be "remodeled." Here's hoping all goes well! I didn't see any pictures of the interior here. I know they are kinda rare. So, I thought I'd post/share a few. What a remarkable place that should have been the transportation hub for the entire central Oklahoma metro area. Umm, kinda like Dart rail in Dallas. But, you're not suppose to make that comparison here. Let's call it a total lack of foresight, hopefully not purposful just misguided, that can/should be remedied at some point...

We had our wedding ceremony here and it was PERFECT! Marissa and as soon as patient during the planning phase and was so helpful when we had to make a last minute venue change due to storms! My guests LOVED this location. Marissa and Chelsea were so helpful the day of! There’s a lovely view of the OKC skyline for pictures at the location! Highly recommend...

Why did they have to destroy the platforms and tracks that had so much potential just to build yet another unnecessary urban highway? Is this state still living...
