Terrible. Been coming here several times and never had an issue. Spent HOURS there today and went to check out.. Got a bunch of stuff from the 10 cent bins.. The last couple boxes we went through were sleeved and toploaded. We get to the register and he says oh all sleeved and toploaded cards are $1 (they were all on the 10c) side. We separated what we got from the other side out. Some of them were the SAME cards. Drove an hour here.. Just to waste four hours.... Almost all of those sleeved ones weren't even worth $1! Crazy how I saw horrible reviews and chose to not believe it, but was proven right. Will never come back here again. Greed is a nasty thing.
Follow up : Let’s get this straight, nobody cursed at you and nobody slammed the door. Did we walk out? Yes because I'm not going to give you any type of business when you're not going to honor where the cards ACTUALLY CAME FROM. and, I'm paying $1 EACH for cards that are ACTUALLY SUPPOSED TO BE. 10cents lmao. The cards were separated the entire time, and if you were so sure otherwise, why wait HOURS until checkout to say something? If you really “knew exactly” where the cards came from, why not call it out when we moved to the other side of the store?
And you've ignored this question already, people are supposed to check out after every section? Give me a break. In any normal store you shop, grab what you want, and check out once, which is exactly what we did. The stacks were separated the entire time. Funny how you claim you know you knew EXACTLY where they came from yet you wanted to argue there were no toploaded and sleeved cards on that side which we proved to you there were. Maybe have a clue of what you're talking about before you accuse customers.
Instead of owning up to your garbage customer service, you’d rather call customers liars. You don’t greet anyone when they walk in, you ignore truth that is said, and then you double down with attitude when called out. Judging by all the other negative reviews, I’m clearly not the only one who thinks so. Good luck bud, seems like you must really be...
Read morePackage arrived empty and appeared tampered with. A loose bubble mailer and no tape was used to discourage any quick opening while in transit. Package didnt sit in mail box as it is in front of my window. Reached out to company and owner about what to do. Was told that this has happened before and it's not their fault and nothing they can do about it. Was told to contact USPS and fill out online claim form myself. Owner had a very poor attitude when dealing with me, I was told if I stopped doing business with them it would be mutually beneficial since I always waited close to breaking to pay. Offered no credit or refund for the difference of value/spent vs insurance or even a sorry this happened to you. I mentioned that I used lots of breakers and that my business decisions are steered towards how I am treated, I was told that nothing would make me happy although nothing was ever offered. Finally a few hours later, someone from the store said they would take care of me the next break I get in. Lot's of great people in the Hobby but Santiago Sports is not one of them, you are just a $ to them and not a person. Showing empathy and care go a long way in a service industry, nobody wants to go through a bad experience but when they do it helps if the business acts...
Read moreOur family has enjoyed visiting Santiago Sports in person for the past 4-5 years. The store has plenty of products to keep you busy hunting through slabs, singles boxes, wax, sports memorabilia and vintage finds! There is a lounge area with seating which makes for a comfortable and welcoming environment. Tyler, Casey and the rest of the team are good people and especially kind and patient with the young hobby collectors. We have two young kids who enjoy coming here for events, trade nights, submissions drop-offs, etc. They have fun with the pop-a-shot in between making trades and ripping packs. Always meet great hobby here and appreciate Tyler’s generosity in hosting trade nights that give back to the hobby community. Excited to see him expand the business even more and can’t wait to support Santiago Sports for years to come! Parking is never an issue even when there is a large turnout for an event and on weekends. Area feels very safe and has plenty of nearby options for food, shopping and recreation if you’re looking for things to do after your visit. It’s...
