I really love this place. It's very quaint and nostalgic, especially if you are someone with an imagination. It's probably not as appealing to today's kids and teens, but maybe it's them that needs to learn to appreciate a simpler time before every toy beeped and ice cream came out of a nozzle in the wall. I wish the Grand Pacific Hotel offered tours when it wasn't busy. I'm dying to see the inside of it.
My favorite businesses here are Falls Ice cream and the toy/doll shop. They used to have an apiary (that I think didn't survive the pandemic shutdown) and an Irish shop. Kinda miss those. They could use an antique store or a book store/coffee shop in there. Those might appeal to the older crowd.

The highlight definitely was lunch at clementines I had the Kentucky Brown sandwich which consisted of very nice slice of turkey cheddar cheese bacon and tomato on a crisp baguette bun along with a scoop of macaroni salad.
