I had reserved judgement about trying a place owned by the George family, but after putting the judgement aside, I figured, well what the heck- I gave the BoD thinking perhaps the owner has nothing to do with Bobby George other than being related to him. Furthermore, I want to assume this might be a Christian based company too when I saw the "Coffee and Jesus sign", but in their mission statement "we seek to honor God" describes the genuine story about Mikey George, the owner's brother that passed away when he was 16 to leukemia. So I had I laugh at myself for the God-wink on the reminder to not be so judgemental. The coffee is very good, very rich. And this is an awesome little place to hangout. I love the building, especially an entire upstairs seating area for more privacy. To anyone looking up the Michael George story, don't associate him and that story with this place like I did. Learn to go beyond judgements. Congrats to the owner for being brave and putting a local coffee spot in the middle of Olmsted Falls. It's been...
Read moreI wish I loved it, but unfortunately it was not worth the price. My husband and I ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 hot lattes and before a tip it was 41 dollars. I have no problem paying when things are great, however the drinks and food were far below average. The lattes were barely warm and for an 8 dollar latte I would think the easiest thing to nail is the temperature. The flavor of the lattes weren’t bad at all but it the temperature being so off really deterred us. The breakfast sandwiches are marketed as organic and grass fed which I love, so I was surprised to get what looked like kraft American cheese half melted on really sticky almost stale bread. The avocado on the sandwich was ice cold, like chunks of frozen avocado on a hot (what looked like) jimmy dean turkey sausage. Each bite was half frozen and half warm, it was really odd. The staff were really nice and pleasant but unfortunately will not be returning when other places taste better, have better presentation and better cost for what you...
Read moreCute place and I live in walking distance and was super super excited for a coffee place in town finally and one I could walk to a few times a week, but like everyone else is saying, the prices are insanely high compared to other local coffee shops in the area. Additionally, they need more variety on the menu for speciality coffee drinks. For such expensive coffee, the options are pretty boring and bland. I highly suggest you come down on cost and spice up the menu a bit, otherwise, I’m not sure the place will last. If it was a little less pricey, I’d come way more often but $7 for a cold brew and $8-$9 for a speciality drink is criminal low key. Please come down a couple dollars on cost and you’ll get many many more visitors...
