edit: Clearly they didn't fully read my review of my experience. I apologize for using google reviews for an honest review, since it seems to have offended the owner by just stating the price and the menu discrepency. Apologies if it offends you.
Really overall awkward and frustrating experience. The person at the window wasn't rude but it was certainly pretty awkward. I asked for a refund in an email after getting a really weird and funky tasting matcha, which they did promptly refund me and respond to. However, I was told that the reason the drink was bad was because I asked for brown sugar and that I simply didn't like the flavor profile. I appreciate the quick response and refund, but it seemed incredibly passive aggressive. Their menu says they use ceremonial grade matcha, but the matcha brand the barista told me they used is culinary grade. Brown sugar definitely should not turn a ceremonial grade matcha yellow/brown unless you are using copious amounts or a super small amount/weird ratio of matcha. I even asked for an extra gram or matcha and it still was this weird color. Anyways, no hate, just my experience, felt weird getting that response back saying I an the reason the drink looked weird and tasted off from the owner, but I appreciated the quick response at least! Nearly $9 and tasted very off compared to a ceremonial grade matcha. Drive through takes a while, maybe go with coffee at this...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE! Main issue: rude workers. I went into the Coffee shop to do some homework in-between my classes, I had heard great things about it and was really hoping to be able to find somewhere else other then Starbucks where I could use Wi-Fi and have some peaceful study time. Unfortunate to say I was very disappointed. I when up to the register to ask one of the workers (brown curly hair) about the Wi-Fi and if there was a password needed. The worker was incredibly rude and had a horrible attitude. When I asked if there was a password for the Wi-fi he responded with "yes" and just nodded his head constantly, acting like he didn't care to tell me. I then proceeded to ask where I could find the password or Wi-Fi information and he directed me to what he called the "bar" area. Went over there and there was nothing. No signs, no posters and a room that led to a workers area. I just left at that point feeling extremely frustrated and annoyed. I understand if they wanted me to buy something to use the Wi-Fi but they did not say anything to me about it or express that. I don't know why the worker was so mean, but purposely misleading a customer is wrong and terrible. This place will forever have lost my business and will be getting zero...
Read moreWe stopped in over the weekend and would never go back. We've told everyone in the area and our work nearby to avoid it too. With a motto that says "We're gonna be great friends", I have to admit I was shocked and disgusted by how we were treated. I have never experienced more poor and uninviting customer service. The girl who took our order was rude and unprofessional. As soon as we were seated to wait for our order she and her friends openly talked about my husband and I so loud we could hear them, while the 3 of them stared at us continuing to talk the entire 30 mins of our awkward visit. I thought a review would be appropriate and perhaps help their customer service because I like to support small and local. When I overheard her telling another customer her parents own the shop, I knew a review would make no change in the service so if you visit here you should expect the same childish, "mean girl" vibe I experienced in this shop. Hopefully they don't last with other local coffee shops nearby that have better prices; better food and drinks and FAR better customer service. It costs nothing to be kind, but I doubt that's a lesson she's interested...
