I went to the Cooper Point location and purchased a external hard drive for my Ps5, however, I didn't know that you weren't able to play Ps5 games directly from the external hard drive. What I had needed from the jump was an internal SSD expansion, I didn't realize this until i plugged in the external drive and tried to use it. Shame on me for not doing my research before I made my purchase. After being confronted with less than satisfactory customer service from a different Game Stop store, I decided to get a second opinion from the Black Lake location within the Mall.
When I arrived, Matthew was actually on the phone with the Game Stop store that I just came from and they were discussing my interaction with the previous store, so Matthew already knew my situation.
As someone that works in the customer service industry, I must say that Matthew handled the situation spectacularly. He went far above what I expected of him doing and simply gave me a total refund so that I could put it towards the purchase of the SSD I needed. He apologized for the staff at the other location (really wasn't a bad experience there, just an uncomfortable interaction).

When I went to return it, same clerk every time, I had forgotten the darn disc. So 2 days, still within the 7 any way you look, I return to store thinking we are all on same page.....I even only wanted to return it and grab something else,......instead I was given a14 dollar credit on a game I was never able to use, returned 2 times trying to work it out, and the guy basically runs me for 40 bucks.....if you're wondering it was far cry 6...I even have a conversation with the online chat telling me they will price match it or return it no problem as I had so many problems....I'll be going back and this may turn into a5...
