Great experience buying a new mattress! Roy was excellent! He was everything I was hoping for in a sleep expert; knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and patient. He walked me through the process of choosing the best mattress for me, and I left feeling confident that I had made the right choice. I had been procrastinating this purchase because I am a very picky shopper, and expected to have to visit several stores and spend an entire day trying ALL the options. I had been researching mattresses online for several weeks prior, and was in a state of "analysis paralysis". I had been wanting to purchase a Tempur-Pedic, but didn't know which model I wanted. I knew I wanted to try them out in-store, so I decided to go here instead of ordering online. I never expected to make a purchase at the first store I visited, but I could tell that Roy was the person I wanted to work with as soon as he greeted me. We discussed all the options, my budget, the pros and cons of purchasing online, pricing of competitors, etc. Roy's knowledge and honesty put my mind at ease, and I made my mind up to make a purchase then and there, which I NEVER do. That's how amazing Roy is! He helped me stay within my budget, and at no point did I feel pressured whatsoever. He made me feel so comfortable, and I could tell he genuinely had my best interests in mind. He was able to get my new mattress delivered the NEXT DAY, and I cannot believe how comfortably and quickly I was sleeping on my new Tempur-Pedic! My wife and I needed to replace our high-quality (but18-year old) California king bed and were looking to upgrade to a split-kingsize bed with dual adjustable frames that included lumbar support. We first visited the Mattress Firm store in Lacey where we met Tyesha, who was very friendly, warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable. She gave us each a brief introduction to the latest features of adjustable frame technology and mattress design and materials that enabled us to experience the differences and to determine our individual preferences. She then showed us a variety of makes and models that matched our preferences and patiently listened and responded to all of our questions. After shopping around at other local mattress stores as well as online (where we were able to read customer reviews of both stores and various mattress makes and models) we visited the Olympia Mattress Firm store and met its manager, Shelly, who was also friendly, warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Shelly answered all of our questions about the Intellibed, which was our first choice, then worked diligently to develop a financial package that met our budget needs and criteria. I was shopping for new mattresses and found great bargains on the mattress firm website. I went into the Olympia store to test drive a few mattresses prior to ordering online. The staff were all busy with other customers but Shelly greeted n and acknowledged me when I walked in even while helping another customer. I went about testing a few of the types of mattresses I'd seen on line. As soon as Shelly was done with her other customer she came right over to help me. We had a brief conversation about what I was looking for and she started pulling out mattresses for me to try. The mattress that suited me best was going to be a challenge for me to set on my own because it does not give in a box so she made me an offer to discount the set up fee and upgraded the service to include taking away my old mattress for the same price. I tested the mattress one more time and decided to order it from Shelly rather than on line. She gave me the same discounted price as on line and included the adjustable frame, as advertised on line as well.
