Overview- QUALITY QUALITY QUALITY! superior service, comfortable & clean atmosphere , outstanding flavorful food! GO IN & TRY THE BEER FLIGHTS! I’ll be recommending this place!
The full details- We stopped in here Friday around 5 ,last weekend in August. it was pretty empty which I enjoyed, but also made me think I should tell people about how good the food is here! The nice outdoor seating area caught my eye, but inside was nice&cool so we ate inside. I appreciated the roomy seating and both / bench style option. I’m a fairly bigger gal and I hate going places where the table is bolted to the floor and it’s a super tight squeeze which makes you feel even bigger than you really are. I spent $40 for the basic stack 571 burger with fries, kids grilled cheese with fries (or fruit) a drink& sundae,& a beer flight, very reasonable. Menu prices were pretty comparable to other nearby similarly nice establishments, but imo they shine with extra quality in everything they do! this is definitely my new favorite place!
their basic stack 571 burger was done perfectly not too pink or overcooked &incredibly flavorful (& I’ve had a lot of good burgers so I don’t feel like I’m easily impressed) , fries were done perfect, &the beer flight was awesome very reasonably priced same as a glass of premium beer $8.50. my son loves grilled cheese & im always noticing how bad most restaurants make them (the bread is never really toasted and they use that fake plasticy cheese) , so sounds silly, but I was happy they made an awesome grilled cheese! the kids meal came with a generous amount of fries ,a drink ,& an ice cream sundae for 9.99. they used real strawberries on top of the ice cream and a generous amount of whip cream so my son was really excited. I will say, I’d recommend going in if you are going to get a burger vs ordering delivery. Only because their burgers are SO INCREDIBLY JUICY , & I loathe a soggy bun and would assume with delivery it would soak up all that juice. Or maybe get the bun on the side & make it up after delivery. But ….if you go in ,then you can get a beer flight with that yummy burger !
Granted this was my first time in, &Maybe it was just because it was pretty empty when we were there, but our server was amazing! CONSTANTLY checking on us, I’ve never felt so attended to during a dining experience. It was a nice ambiance, but also casual &comfortable. My son was dancing around the place to the music (which was the perfect level not too loud) happily since it was pretty empty. I was a housekeeper for 25 years so I’m always noticing any ick at establishments, so I appreciate that this place was very tidy.
Try the pineapple mango cider, it was really amazing, almost...
Read moreI stopped in to try this restaurant after a recommendation from a local. After just missing the 6pm happy hour, I decided to go straight to the meal and ordered the Hot chicken sandwich and paid extra for truffle fries. I paired this meal with a cider after being told that of the two options only one was available. After a slight wait, my food arrived and I was prepared to dig in. While my thoughts had mixed feelings on the smaller portions it was appealing. Just as I got into this meal, two guests were seated inside the restaurant (located inside the mall) with two larger sized dogs. Based on the level of comfort walking in to be seated I can only guess that this is not uncommon for the patrons. My first thought was to cancel my meal and find another dining option. The dogs were sitting under the table on leases that their owner had placed on the bench beside her. I don’t have a distaste for animals, but it made my restaurant cleanliness radar go all the way up!! As much as I wanted to enjoy my meal, all the questions started coming up in my head and this meal quickly took a turn south. So much so that I didn’t finish my meal. Over $30 for a chicken sandwich and small upcharged fries just to not finish my food. I was bothered so much so that I called back to talk to the manager after sitting in my car. The shift manager sensed my frustration and all he stated was his hands are tied when it comes to this type of situation. My options next time in their establishment are being seated elsewhere or asking the other patrons to be moved. This definitely isn’t a reasonable solution. There is a time and place or at least a second thought that not all guests are comfortable with eating along side furry friends to eat inside a restaurant. This was a disappointment for sure because I wasted money. Even after taking half my sandwich home, the thought of eating it was just a no go. I won’t even go into all the sanitation concerns that ran through my mind. This meal did not...
Read moreUpdated menu selection seemed to be a foodies dream stop however certain elements seemed over the top for a whiskey and burger bar. Quality food and presentation but again over the top and not in a good way when it comes to comfort food. I suffered through half of my club sandwich which was thought up by an eager chef who threw all the bells and whistles at this sandwich. I was met by a sloppy slimey egg running down the dry artisan bread, heavy mayonnaise held together this grotesque version of a favorite comfort food topped with heavily peppered bacon was sure to leave me grabbing the antacids. In all...it was the messiest sandwich I have ever eaten. Overthought and overwrought with mistakes...too much was put into this sandwich. Impossible to eat without leaving most of it on your face, I left feeling disgusted by how rich this sandwich was. A simple Club should not exude gourmet to the point of grotesque. Too much! Burgers were overly greasy...I'm surprised the water wasn't infused with cucumberand melon...wait...pretty sure I did hear the waiter say "infused" at some point on one of the items we ordered. Probably won't return. Overzealous chef adds that extra that just taints what could be so GREAT! Simplify your menu and watch...
