Lovely park with bright, attractive toys for kids. Probably best for ages 4 and up. The toys are not very toddler friendly. Lots climbing apparatus, several slides, tunnel, and sadly only 2 regular swings and 2 infant/toddler swings. The park is set back away from busy streets, newrby an apartment complex. Lots of sloped grass and an adjacent community garden. Only real drawback is the ocassional presence of tweakers. The first time we went a man was in the 1 bathroom over 30 minutes, doing drugs. (The city installed a sharps container in there for them, so hopefully that keeps needles contained). We had to leave the park because my daughter could not use the bathroom. Read moreIts a beautiful little park, but theres alot of broken glass in various places and apparently its where the underage kids go to drink. Our trip was ruined by some idiot yelling the N word on their phone while a bunch of drunk kids made loud fools of themselves in the parking lot. Not a helpful environment for my 8mo old son to be listening in on. I'd like to pick up more of the glass I missed next time we go and hope the people there are more respectful next time round. Read moreNice park. Playground equipment is new. Lots of little paved paths to have little ones ride bikes on. Also some easy hills for sledding in the winter. No tables, but a few benches to sit on and watch kids play. I have seen small groups of teens hanging out here during school hours, smoking/vaping. Not sure if they were causing any issues besides the obvious skipping school, but did make me feel more vigilant...
