Film Streams' Dundee Theater — Attraction in Omaha

Summary: overpriced movie tickets with poor seating (other than top rows).

We came here for date night. The ticket usher greeted us promptly, and gave us our tickets as well. We then went to the concession stand, where we bought, popcorn, and two soft drinks. All the staff members were very nice. We were escorted to our theater, and sat down. The theatre had limited number of seats (less than 50). aside from the top rows, most of the seats had poor angles. The sound was also a bit too loud. We understand that this is boutique theater, but given the ticket prices, and the seating options, other theatres would offer a more enjoyable experience.

I waited YEARS for this place to reopen. Having attended the final showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show immediately before the Old Dundee Theatre closed back in 2013, I was delighted to see it reopen with a fresh coat of paint.

It's not just the paint that's changed though. The staff, the vibe, and every aspect of this place is quintessentially Dundee. There is an inherent coolness about this place, from the menu to the wait staff. Even the 25 micro-theatre feels less like a sardine can and more like lounging on a couch with close friends.

While the larger auditorium is wonderful, if you have the opportunity to visit the micro theater, do so. You'll appreciate the experience so much more. Also, their bottled root...

Love the alternative movies! I am an annual member. Hate that they are the last place in town that requires a mask to walk in. I'll go to other theatres instead. Can't walk down the aisle without a mask but can sit and eat 2ft away without? I was surrounded by unmasked people in the theatre?... I'm old, vaccinated and don't feel the guy in the plastic booth is a medical professional. Not very friendly telling me to put on a mask for a 50' walk, alone, in the lobby. I do appreciate the freedom of expression. My thought is, I won't spend my time or money here. When I don't feel safe, I stay home. If I want a political, medical opinion, I will ask a doctor. Alternative art is not worth the price of...
