Honestly we usually go to another ice cream shop in town but we were in the area and craving something sweet. The ice cream is good but nothing special. Really the only reason I am giving two stars is because of how terrible the customer service was today. We walked into an empty shop. I didn't mind that the two employees were sitting on their phones but it was weird that they didn't greet us as we walked in. The expressions on their faces made me feel like they really didn't want me to be there. We went to grab napkins but the dispenser was packed so full it was tearing the napkins, we apologized while trying to get a napkin without it ripping and the employee just stared at us while we strugged with one hand as we held our cones. We got our ice cream and tipped 20% out of habit but regretted it. After we paid the employees just walked away without another word. Super awkward experience and I would rather go wait in a long line at a shop whose staff is friendly.

We were in town for an event and did a quick search for ice cream on our way out after getting gas. When we pulled up, I was pleased with the look of the building. Now, when you order ice cream from Dairy Queen, you know what you're ordering most of the time. Going somewhere new, it takes a moment to understand the menu. We had also never had Gelato. This created some questions. We had obviously never been here before. The shop itself was ADORABLE. The staff, not so much. They didn't seem to be enthused with our simple questions. They also weren't overly helpful, which is unfortunate. In fact, they seemed bothered that we had questions, even though there were two of them working and not one other customer in the store. They were also priced quite high. I believe one scoop was like $3.55 plus tax. That's a couple bites for the average person. The ice cream itself was decent, nothing I would brag about. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

*update This continues to be a solid place to go for your ice cream needs. I did upgrade to a 5 🌟 Having returned, it is a place that I think I love, and for that it gets a 5. The service is exceptionally friendly with patience while you try to figure out what exactly you want. They have recently joined with a cookie company. You can get personalized Ice cream and they have ultimate collections available. Great choices and makes a great gift. Hope to do a personalized Ice cream one day. ____ previous review Banana split sunday was priced at $7.95 with generous amounts. They had Ice cream, gelato and sorbet. Their basic sundae started at $4, an extra scoop about $1.25 more. Lots of seating inside and out. It's a bright space that's open and trendy. Everything we tasted was good. The staff was accommodating with our requests. The vegan flavor was very good today. Peanut butter oatmeal cookie. They use almond milk.

Do not ship anything from ecreamery. I purchased the Father's Day flavors, 4 pints plus shipping for $80+ (which I already thought was kind of expensive, but I was willing to spend it because they came highly recommended by a friend). Guaranteed delivery before Father's Day.

On the portal to input shipping address, it autofills with city state and zip if you click the drop down street number and street name. There was only ONE address in the whole US of where I was sending the package (street number and street name), so this wasn't an issue of clicking the wrong address (literally went back and checked to see if it was possibly my own mistake and I clicked the wrong address from the drop down, but no, there was only one address with the same number and street name in the whole US). Long story short, the package was delivered almost a week after Fathers Day, melted, and when I asked them for a refund of the money, they said, "Sorry, we will not give a refund. The address CITY was wrong so it was delayed in Kansas City (Which, again, made no sense because if they are shipping from Omaha to Omaha (the incorrect city in which they said was on the label) Why would it have ever gone to Kansas City??). Oh, but we will give you a discount if you would like to order again and we will make sure it get's there this time by the end of the week!" (Even with the discount, at that point, I would have spent $140 PLUS additional shipping for 4 pints of ice cream - no thank you)

I won't order from them again and will be sure to let my friends, family, and colleagues know of the experience.

RESPONSE TO ECREAMERY'S RESPONSE:

Let me ask you two questions:

Do you think $140 plus an additional amount for shipping is a good use of funds to receive 4 pints of ice cream? If the answer is no, then perhaps not the best remedy to the situation as I've stated directly to you in email.

Did you happen to venture to the portal and type in the address yourself (since you have it) to see how the address popped up and filled in the ONLY correct city, state ,and zip for that particular street number and street name? I didn't type in the address - your portal did it for me.

I would have been happy with the product being reshipped so my Dad could have enjoyed something EVENTUALLY for Father's Day, or even a partial refund at this point, but to tell me to pay AGAIN at the "discounted rate" of $140 plus shipping to receive 4 pints of ice cream is ridiculous.

My review stands and I hope others see it and think twice before ordering through...

I absolutely love butterbrickle ice cream, but the big ice cream makers don't make it, or my stores don't carry it. So, I was thrilled to find eCreamery's butterbrickle at my local store. Even more thrilled when I got it home and had some. I'd found the butterbrickle ice cream of my childhood and couldn't be happier. Until I couldn't find it at my local store or a few of the other stores of the same chain. So, I went to the source and straight to the eCreamery shop. I ordered a quart and a cup with 3 scoops. I was elated. For about 3 minutes. This was in no way the same ice cream I'd gotten at my store. There were no toffee pieces in my ice cream at all. So I waited to go back into the store (the 8 people rule) and when I told the young man my problem he explained to me that this was what they had, and that they didn't make the ice cream someone else had. They did give me some toffee pieces to mix in myself, but the let down was there. So now I have a quart of basically vanilla ice cream that I have to mix in toffee pieces myself. The ice cream is phenomenal, the store is adorable, but I certainly did not get what I wanted and expected. Sure hope my local grocery store gets more butterbrickle in soon and that the ice cream maker doesn't forget the toffee pieces. I'd whole heartedly endorse your ice cream, anything BUT the butterbrickle I...
