Evike Outpost Ontario — Attraction in Ontario

After puchasing a drum AK mag onine for my gun realizing it didn't fit I ended up purchasing one from the Ontario store. And realizing it didn't fit as well. I returned again to return it and purchase a mid cap or hi cap mag . After purchasing 2 I went home and realized they didn't fit I immediately drove another hour back to return them . Now let me start with the good employees I give Rob, Chris and Bryan & alma 5 stars for their great customer service The reason for the one star is because I've only started this sport about three weeks ago so I have alot to learn and don't have much knowledge. So as Leo came to try to help with my issue with my mag . Instead of helping he was very rude and condescending saying I wasn't a real A.K guy because I would grind down my mag cause it was something he would do cause he was an A. K guy. But as well saying 🤷‍♂️ I never told you to do anything . making me feel real uncomfortable because I never claimed to be an A.K guy it was my first gun , it was affordable and I have a real sentimental value on my first purchase when I buy my first of something in a new hobbie so this gun meant alot to me . And for him to stand there and just ridicule me in front of his staff and customers made me feel like an idiot for needing help . didn't make my experience any better .

It wasn't just that he wouldn't stop showboating on how much of an AK guy he was and that he and his team was all about A.Ks Instead of helping me , someone who barely knows anything he proceeded to make me feel even worse because I had no knowledge and was very confused on what I should do . . Some of the staff Incuding Alma are nice. But could be a bit more friendly . My buddy also an airsoft player after being only in there with me for 10 minutes walked out . Because he disliked their service and he told me they where very rude . If I'd have any suggestions id say Rob should be running the store. .if I ever decide to visit evike again . I'd only visit the Alhambra store I had a better experience there than Ontario and definitely worth the drive. .until then I won't return until they retrain some of their staff and do some changes in management . Be aware of buying ordering from evike I drove to the Alhambra location 2 hour drive. I had my list of products ready total of 1,200 dollers once there about to check out cashier tells me they have a deal going on and that it would be better if I order online and save about 150 dollars because I was spending soo much he gave me a code and obviously I said okay I’ll place the order and drive back in a few days once I got home place the order and code wasn’t what he said it save me 20 dollers at Thai point I said okay normal mistake went ahead and place the order took them a week to call and tell me they didn’t have a few items when they said it was in stock anyways I had to choose new items after doing so a week had gone by with them holding all my money and I’ve not yet receive anything I called back and they said they where waiting on me to accept tue change when I had already done it days before, at this point I’m angry we go on to week number 2 I received half my order and in the order I got a used 100 doller tracer unit that I purchased new emg mock suppressor with no charger no instructions and was disassembled, called them and they said will need it back will check it should take about 2 to 3 weeks for you to get it back on top of all the 3 weeks I already been waiting for oh and like I said I’m still missing half my order already on week #3 I understand if I spent 200 dollers but 1200 that’s just not right! they done nothing to help the situation or a apology or call nothing be careful when buying here! Just want to say first off that Alex was awesome. I come from a lot of firearm experience, but airsoft is totally new to me. From gas, c02, electronic systems, chipsets, you name it, I had zero knowledge or experience as to what was good and what was junk. Alex took the time to help me mimic my gear setup so I can properly train and keep my existing muscle memory valid and un-contaminated from a new platform. We had to order a couple items and then I returned to complete the purchase and had him give me "airsoft 101". He had patience when I tried a variety of magazines to make sure they fit and released properly (many didn't and I think maybe I helped teach him a bit about real-world needs and weapon manipulation). Overall EVIKE proved why they are the leader in this market - they have the products and much of it you can order through them or others online, but what truly sets them apart from others is their people. Alex is a perfect example, as was the rest of the team I engaged with or overheard. Their knowledge and focus on providing a great customer experience was unrivaled. Thank you EVIKE and ALEX for taking this older man with real world experience and making me feel welcome and treating me and my training needs with respect. I am sure I will be back again soon...
