Out of all the rest stops and welcome centers I’ve been to, this is my favorite we stopped around September 10th 2025 around 11am. If I could rate this a 10 stars I would, the people in the welcome center where super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable about the best places to visit and the best routes to take. They had plenty of pamphlets to pick from and information books, free coffee, and little trinkets to take. The restrooms where super clean and smelt good, and they had some lavender out by the welcome center and it’s smelt amazing in that area it was a breathe of fresh air from being in a car for many hours. The instructions were to use the porta potty, which did not have hand sanitizer. Asked for hand sanitizer. I got sideways glances and continue to have an awkward interaction involving coffee and the marvelous state of Oregon. The building's exterior needs to be maintained better, and I definitely expect better restrooms at such a commonly used area.
