This place has really gone downhill in the past few years. For one, the prices: Small bowl: about $10; Medium bowl: about $14; Large bowl: about $21. The prices for these have been steadily going up in recent years and might be higher by the time you read this review. At that price point, you'd probably expect at least good food. Unfortunately, it isn't. It doesn't matter what sauces you put in your bowl, because the cooks will aggressively water it down and pour an entire jug of some other sauce over it instead. This tends to make the noodles soggy while also making the flavor very one-note. I really can't recommend going here in this state.
2025 Update: I decided to go here again on a whim and I have some thoughts. First and foremost, the prices are outrageous. Nearly $30 for a large bowl is just unacceptable. On top of that, there's now a new rule in place where you will be charged extra if you press down the food in your bowl. What??? This combined with the fact that they'll charge you extra if you "overstack" the bowl just makes the owners look very greedy. Though, credit where credit is due, my food was prepared much, much better than it was the last few times I've been here. It tasted exactly the way I wanted and it satisfied my craving. I think they've taken a hint and stopped watering down everyone's food. If money is no object and you just want some Mongolian barbecue, this place will...

The people are delightful, helpful and caring.
We have had Mongolian wok food many times, and enjoyed it. This time not so much.
To start with, many of the bins of food were almost empty, with what little remained stuck solidly to the bottom of the bin--apparently frozen. It took much effort to chip enough off to fill a bowl.
THEN, the fellow who was working the stick on the cooking surface washed all the flavor out of the food, pouring what seemed like gallons of water on the food, which then flooded over the side of the cooking surface.
Approximately 5% to 10% of what had been in our bowls washed over the side with the flavorful liquids.
What was left was completely without flavor. We tried to compensate with salt and cayenne pepper, which we always bring with us when we go out to eat, but even that didn't add enough flavor back in to make the food worth eating.
We were hungry enough that we both ate all that was in our bowls, but left feeling like we had just eaten a bowl of wax.
On the positive side, the place was very clean, and the people were delightful. Of course, that isn't enough to ever bring me back to eat...
Read moreI was at one of their restaurants at the mall, and first, when I asked for more time she ignored me and started getting me fried rice. I told her I wanted steamed rice and whoops she ignored me again and asked my dad what he wanted. He wanted fried rice so I just told her to go ahead and take his order since it’s ready. Nope she said “what do you want?” I said Mongolian chicken. She put wayyy too much on there and when I told her that was too much she simply said, “Ok what other meat?” Like no! Take that off! Anyways I got another type of chicken but once I realized that I got the wrong one I was too done with this girl to start something. Even when my dad said it was too much she didn’t do 1 thing about it. Before we even got to pay (this is the best part) the same lady who was ignoring me came out of the back talking about a customer that was taking forks and calling them a motherf*cker. While the cashier or no one seemed to care like it was normal. She also put too much sauce on it ughhh. Decent...
