The Happy Hippy — Local services in Ontario

Eh.. Traveling from Atlanta, I guess I would say this place is decent at best. The stuff they sell seems to be good quality, but is SEVERELY overpriced. Plus, the customer service was terrible. Seemed to be at least 4 people working when I came in and NO ONE offered to come help me until after I just stood there staring at the employees. The guy who came in after me was helped before I was, which I definitely took notice of, but being used to this type of treatment didn't make a big deal about it.

The guy who finally came over to help me after waiting for assistance seemed cool enough I guess. Pretty knowledgeable on products and very helpful with picking out my desired items and answering my questions.

I bought 2 pieces, but was NEVER given a receipt or informed of any return policies.

Just off the experience alone, I wouldn't be returning, but what really topped it off was the fact that the other smoke shop in town, Visions, sells the same quality level of items for a fraction of the price. Pieces that are $40 in Happy Hippie are $23.99 at Visions. And Visions was extremely friendly, equally as knowledgeable and threw in free items with my purchase.

Would be a 1 star review, but the pieces are good quality, just extremely overpriced in comparison to their competition.

In a nutshell, go to Visions Smoke Shop 5 min away instead. Save yourself some money, ...

I’m a traveling disabled veteran and found myself in Ontario needing a few supplies. I managed to make my way to The Happy Hippie despite a road closure causing me to drive through parking lots to get to the place. It was well worth it! Not only does this shop have a ton of variety, some items even surprising me, the staff was incredibly nice, genuine, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. Even though they were quite busy, I received more than enough personal attention to make me feel like a VIP. You may not expect a head shop to go above and beyond when it comes to customer service, but that’s exactly what the staff at The Happy Hippy did for me. Tylesha, I hope I spelled that correctly, was so caring and knowledgeable! She was super considerate of our wants, gave us recommendations, spent a ton of time answering all my questions, and I swear, Dr. Dabber should sponsor her. Absolutely awesome, and made a return customer from us for sure. Will be recommending this shop to everyone I know, the entire store is filled with cool merchandise, which I had no idea about.
