If I could give negative stars âManager Kennyâ I would. I purchased a few items to go in a gift bag for a co-worker on May 1st 2025. Unfortunately when she was opening her gift on May 2nd 2025, we uncovered that the pore patches were missing from the box. I went in that same day on May 2nd, 2025 and received very good customer service from a new associate in training. However, everyone is human and he accidentally made the mistake of charging me for the item again instead of returning it. I discovered this on May 3rd 2025 when I saw the charge pending on my acct. I decided to go back in because normally $4.99 wouldnât matter to me, but that fact that it now turned into $9.98 for a product that I never received seemed ridiculous to me. When I went in I showed the girl that was helping me the initial receipt, the return receipt and the charge pending through on my bank acct. She understood from the beginning and proceeded to ask for the manger âKennyâ that was back there at the time. He immediately through his finger up without even looking and very rudely raised his voice at her âI am busy! One moment! Iâm obviously busy!â She was polite and took it very gracefully and remained patient and apologetic towards me. He then proceeded to storm over at to my face demand what the problem was as if I was causing an issue. I calmly explained the scenario again and all of the evidence that I had to show. He proceeded to ask me the same questions over and over completely ignoring what I was saying and raising his tone more and more until he got the point of literally screaming in my face. He then told he girl to âjust give her cashâ and walked away. As she was giving me the cash she only handed me half of the return and when I corrected her he came back over and pushed her out of the way to continue to scream at me telling that âIâm only giving you 4.99, Iâve refunded you twice now. This is your banks fault , they messed it up. When in reality there had been not one refunded collect, hence the entire point of my visit. And not to mention, I work for my bank and I also just have common sense which our manager Kenny here lacked to present. I refused to take the disrespect and lack of customer service at this point. And calmly, like I had been the whole time, explained that I would dispute with my bank and left peacefully. The way that he spoke to the girl that was helping me and the way that he spoke to the customer was childish, disrespectful and insolent. FIRE HIM. But I have no doubt that you wonât actually do that. So at the very least coach your managers on how to be respectful in the workplace and how to actually train the people that are new and need guidance instead of throwing them on the line without âany experience on how to do this.â From the trainee himself after asking for help twice from...
Read moreAbsolute TERRIBLE customer service. I wish I could give zero stars. My wife had bought a gift for her coworker and found that the items were missing from the box, she returned the gift the next day but instead of getting refunded they charged her again! After looking at our online banking app she went back in to get the situation resolved. The initial employee was very understanding and helpful but needed manager approval. âKennyâ rudely scolded his own employee that he was busy and to wait. Once he was free, he stormed over and rudely asked âwhatâs your issue?â (Talking to my wife) she politely explained the situation and that there was a mistake. Raising his voice, he yelled at her telling her that itâs the banks mistake and itâs not his problem (my wife works at the bank we use and knows thatâs not the issue). After explaining what happened again he kept asking the same questions of âdo you have your receiptâ which we did but he ignored her answers and kept asking over and over until finally he yelled at his employee to just give my wife cash and walked away. The employee only gave half of the refund and my wife respectfully corrected her and asked for the other half. The manager stormed back over and push his employee out of the way screaming at my wife that she would not get the full refund and to just dispute it with the bank. This is absolutely HORRENDOUS behavior from a manager and I canât believe heâs able to work there. Itâs...
Read moreI had a really unusual yet super appreciated encounter at the Ontario Marshall's. To lay the framework: I'm old and I know I'm old, I'm overweight and I'm a stingy-butt so I shop for the cheapest old-lady clothes and I've grown accustomed to being ignored and despised in retail clothing stores. I don't even try, I just grab what I need and head to the fitting room. But today was so different. I roll up, clearly someone who cares nothing about my appearance (sloppy pony, no makeup, sundress with no bra, birks), and start racking my pile of white shirts and black pants (yep, I'm shopping for food service clothes). I am warmly greeted by this gorgeous ginger-haired young fashionista who proceeds to pay attention to me and make clever banter with full eye-contact and not a single deep-sigh of barely contained disgust. She was likewise just as connected when I was leaving, so it wasn't a fluke. It's been a very long time since I've been SEEN and appreciated by a younger retail attendant, especially a perfectly coiffed and flawlessly dressed one. I know it sounds crazy but it made me feel cute and feminine with none of the usual sharp-edged acceptance that my ship has sailed in the minds of most of America. But not today. In Ontario, f-ing Oregon no less. Thank you, lovely, sweet, and clever red-haired...
