Cool place to mess around. Great place to kayak, fish and swim. Most of the beach on the north side is gone after hurricane sally but you can just walk over to the gulf side or swim out to a little island of sand that’s usually there.

Hate this place. Scares the ever living beJesus out of me. The current coming through the pass is unbelievably fast and there is a sharp drop-off under the bridge. I absolutely refuse to go here. And watching all those kids jump off the pilings makes my heart beat out of my chest. There are FAR BETTER public beaches in both OB &...

Love this place. Nice parking area. It is a little trek to the beach but there is a boardwalk. Pick up one of those wagons at the wagon store and load it with the necessities for the day. Not sure I have ever had a bad day at the beach. ...
