First day was amazing than there’s us finding receipts from other people under Beds, it being some what dirty, you could lay a finger on the beg and the whole thing squeaks, The shower pressure feels like a sprinkler(not good) and NONE of the tvs working unless you screen your phone too it. constant weed smells from people below at all hours of day,people playing loud music by pool than later on the security dude Claims to see a “lighter” from our balcony from below while doing his rounds we tried to explain my mother came down from MS to stay with us and hit her vape on balcony without her knowing we’re not allowed too and he may have seen the flash from it ect. He came to the door we talk he side it was a balcony with out light on…our balcony light Don’t EVEN WORK, we thought we were fine than we went on the beach to find crabs on the way back we see him and we tryed to talk to him saying we’re sorry and explaining the situation ect everything was fine talked about weed smell wishing it could stop and that was it the next morning we woke up to being reported do to the vapeing flash I guess we got a warning next is a 200$ fine, than 500$ following being asked to leave. It’s not a big deal but dose ruin our trip. The security dude made it seem like everything was fine, a mistake was Made, but everything was forgiven or so I thought I get your doing your job but it’s seems ridiculous. The condos themselves may be fine, but the security here is invasive, overbearing, and downright creepy. The worst part is that security openly takes photos and videos of guests on their balconies. Balconies are supposed to be private spaces where families can relax, not places where strangers with cameras watch and record you.
I want to ask management directly: how would you feel if security guards were photographing or filming your own children on a balcony? This crosses the line from safety into harassment.
What makes this even worse is that this isn’t an isolated complaint. If you look at the reviews, it’s the same issue over and over again — guests feeling harassed, stalked, and made uncomfortable by security. Yet management has done nothing to fix it. By ignoring the number one complaint about this property, management has shown a total lack of care for guest experience and family privacy.
Also, half of the outlets were shot. The vacuum wouldn’t hold a charge for longer than 2 minutes. We had to change the hvac filter ourselves because of how nasty it was. Ontop of that, we were accused of smoking around the pool on the first day and we hadn’t even been down there yet.
My call to action to management: Stop dismissing this as a guest problem and start addressing the unprofessional, invasive behavior of your security staff. End the balcony surveillance, respect guest privacy, and actually listen to the feedback you’ve been given time and time again. We rented a 1st floor condo for the easy access to the pool and the beach because we have a child who is disabled and other children as well. As we arrived we realized that our gate was locked and that we are unable to use it. We contacted management, maintenance and both Liquid Life and White Caps but they all told us the same thing. One representative actually hung up on us. We were told the gate was supposed to be fixed weeks ago but they do not have a time line and that everyone’s gate on the 1st floor is locked. After speaking with our neighbors and other people staying here we believe we are the only ones with the gate locked. This gate is a huge amenity but no one called or notified us that the gate was inaccessible. HOW IS THIS OKAY? We cannot use the main thing we came for! I completely understand it possibly being a liability but why is ours the only one locked? What’s the point of locking ours? Shoot if anything ask us to sign a waiver or at LEAST notify us BEFORE we arrive! It suck’s watching everyone else use the ally but we have to walk around the complex. I am very upset. As a special needs parent I already feel outcasted. This is not how we envisioned our vacation going.
