Chapman University — Attraction in Orange

Chapman University has come along way from when known as Chapman College! Definitely has transformed into an internationally renowned University w/ several specialized schools and programs. Athletic Programs have also seen major improvements from brand new facilities - Coaching hires & more. From the Dodge Film School to the Fowler Law School and Campus proper... Chapman University is an absolute institution of higher learning located in the City of Orange 🍊, CA. Campus is full of art and busts of famous people throughout history. Wonderful just to walk/ride around and enjoy the serenity of the outdoor auditorium or checkout the new sports facilities. Both stadium 🏟️ and pool stay in theme with all the new structures built in last decade or so. Lots of brand new housing options. Block away from THE Old Towne Orange Plaza Historical District! Unique & incredible community in heart 🧡 of Orange County CA is home to outstanding progressive...

As always, campus is lovely. I was very impressed by the fact that they maintained the beautiful landscaping and fountains even during the pandemic when they had no students there. Now the people are back, and it is autumn, they have once again shown a beautiful smaller campus...the potential. Lot of people trampling around on the campus and they are still keeping up the appearance. As far as the school is concerned I don't have all that much contact but they certainly seem to have a nice crop of students. The law school however is still suffering significantly, at least among those of us in the field, from their association with John Eastman, he of the Trump insurrection fame. I don't know how that will pan out for them. Still.... Worth a wander amount the grounds & the fountains...

The residents near Chapman are so relieved that the campus is closed. We can drive down Lemon or Walnut. A lot fewet parties. The stadium is interesting with 2 lanes of track. Can't hold a track meet there. Wonderful planning. They want to use our high schools but never allow high school to use their facilities. When they csme to orange and we shared everything was great. They purchased the high school campus because it was condemned. We could not use the auditorium. 6 of the original , condemned buildings are being used. O ly the gym was replaced. Since only 50% of the students are accepted you get the bottom of the barrel. The black panthers are obnoxious. Orange High Panthers were in town decades before Chapman The only noteworthy sport Chapman had...
