I almost feel like there are TOO MANY options here! The menu is huge and there are tons of salads, sandwiches, wraps, entrees, sides, etc. to choose from. It took me forever to decide on what to get, but thankfully my server was very patient and helpful with suggestions. What I assume is newer revision of the menu includes symbols to indicate whether an item is vegetarian or gluten-free, and I was grateful to see a good number items that were both. While nothing is indicated as vegan, my server told me that most of the vegetarian items could be made vegan by omitting the cheese and/or dressing. They seem to be accommodating to requests like that.
I got the falafel wrap on a gluten-free tortilla, and my server said that it would come with extra fruit and hummus to make up for the pasta salad and creamy dressing that I couldn't have (to keep my meal vegan and gluten-free). It was delicious! The falafel was a tad dry and crumbly, and the wrap did fall apart easily, and it ended up being a bit messy to eat, but not too big of a deal if you don't mind eating a wrap with a fork and knife.
There are also two vegan and gluten-free cookies that they have, which I'd gotten a couple of days before during a coffee-to-go stop here. The Chocolate Coconut Walnut Cookie is amazing. I'm sure the Oatmeal Raisin was good, too. The iced coffee that I got was also HUGE ... like 24 oz or...
Read moreOne of our favorites... They have good healthy food and tasty salads. This isn't quite the place for a fancy meal, but healthier tasty meals. Their selection is quite varied, and I have tried several items through the years, but often go back to choosing our favorite salad. My kids like their food here too. When we are super hungry we start off by sharing the nachos on the patio for a great outside dining experience.
They make some fantastic cookies and an incredible cheesecake. Their cheesecake is so good, I ordered a whole pan for my wife's birthday one year. They have a flavored iced tea i really enjoy as well, great with or without sweetner.
Their specials like the various dips are great, and very affordable to start out a meal.
Took my Mom here once for her birthday because it is a lot healthier than most other restaurants, yet still tasty. The inside dining was perfect for Mom since it felt comfortable to enjoy time with family.
Very homey and relaxing place to get...

This is a nice little house that has been converted into a restaurant located just less than a block away from Chapman University. Street Parking Only.
I've tried the hungarian coffee and the vanilla latte which are both pretty good. I've also had their enchiladas, breakfast quesadillas and pasta dishes. I've been trying new things everytime I drop in.
The only thing I didn't like was their southwest scrambler. They didn't have any meat which was ok, but what really put the nail in the coffin was that 50% of the omelet was bell peppers.
also, our middle aged waitress at the time seemed like she was too busy to actually speak directly to us. she would walk by and pick things up and drop one or two things. This was the first time i've experience this personally and was a bit disappointed by it. Other times i've had great service. Next time I'll sit outside perhaps like i have done in...
