We booked the Laser tag party for our daughters 12th birthday on a Saturday in January and unfortunately it did not go as expected. I arrived an hour early to see the facility and pay the remaining balance, as I had never been before, and when I approached the register and spoke with who I believe was the manager who introduced my to my host. The host showed me the room we were going to have and walked me through the facility where she stated her role would be to help me execute the party the way I wanted. At the end of the tour she showed me where I could park to bring in my supplies and food and from there I went to my car to wait to begin setting up.
I came back inside at my arranged set up time and began to unload my car where my host did help. Once in the room she asked what she could do to help and I gave her instructions that she executed but I also took this time to go over my plan for the party and asked her to keep that time so that we could maximize our party room time. Once the children started to arrive I asked her if she could start the first round of laser tag with the kids while I finished setting up the room. She came back 5 minutes later informing me to settle the remaining balance. This was not a problem but the timing was inconvenient as we had been setting up for at least 15 minutes alone and she hadn't brought it up. Here nor there time balance was paid from there I went over the timing plan again and she confirmed she would execute as I desired.
The host did not keep the time at all and was no help in keeping schedule to the point that we had to pay to extend our party room time so that we could sing happy birthday in the room. We had also prepaid for rock climbing and the high ropes for those who wanted to participate. We did a head count of those who wanted to partake and we agreed to pay the difference. The host split the kids into two groups and got them started, I paid for the second group and I thought that was the end. One of the kids decided that they wanted to join last minute and the host came to inform me that the kid had already suited up and all but demanded that I come out and pay right in that moment since the service had been rendered. This made me feel a little off since the host was hardly seen unless I was looking for her to ensure she was keeping track of the schedule for the kids since the laser tag room was a shared space for the entire facility.
The final straw was when we were trying to get the kids set up for rock climbing, we again did a head count and I paid the difference for the additional children who wanted to participate. I asked how long it would be before someone would be able to get the kids started, where the person behind the register said it would only be a few moments. The kids waited over 10 minutes before someone came over to help them, which was again off putting since the manager was on the phone by the claw machines and there were two employees behind the register talking to one another.
Overall the kids had a good time, the party room was really nice and they had plenty of things for the kids to do but as a parent I had a higher expectation for the staff in managing the party schedule. I would hate to think that race played a factor or perhaps they were just understaffed, but I don't feel we were given their...
Read moreThis is one of the most disappointing place I have ever attended. When I walked into the place with my family we weren’t greeted nor welcomed. Although a holiday night (Halloween) which means it wouldn’t be busy we did not receive the same welcome as the typical guest would. The only reason why I entered was for the mechanical bull ride. I asked an employee that I had wish to ride the bull to which he responded it cost $7 and pointed towards the back of the room. I was confused as I walked towards the back of the room. I asked the same employee that if this is where I purchase the ride at the same time pointing to some ATM looking machine. The employee responded yes. I went ahead and purchased my ticket only to realize the machine does not give change. I then looked to the employee behind a stand which she was on her phone. Two other employees were playing air hockey. To the employee that helped me he was just talking to the one behind the stand. I walked over there and stated that I had paid with a $20 bill and hat if they can help me. The same employee that thinks has helped has been the most useless employee to provide customer service. If I wanted him to tell me that the machine does not give change I could have asked him that but because I was a first time customer not knowing a single thing about this place I paid with a larger bill. To top it off the bull ride sucked. The same employee was in charge of that bull ride and all he had the machine do was spin around. I am truly disappointed in this place and I walked away with some dumb store credit which I live 40 minutes away so it isn’t a place I can come and check out on a regular basis. It isn’t even worth my gas. Little did they know I am public speaker in Orange County and how much damage from my...
Read moreWent in with my son to burn some time while my wife went shopping. Bought a card and added a few dollars to it. We mainly played basketball and skee-ball. Won some tickets which according to the signs on the machine were added to the card. When we were finished we asked an employee where we could exchange our tickets for prizes. The employee told us they no longer gave out prizes and "those games were from the old system." I asked what the point of the skee-ball/basketball games and tickets then if you couldn't get prizes? She said they were just for fun and for the experience. Truly felt ripped off as there were no signs indicating that the games were just for fun and you couldn't exchange tickets for prizes. We should have just gone to Dave & Buster's which was just a few feet away and has a larger assortment of games and gives out...
