The Diocese of Orange's Pastoral Office/Center has a great challenging on the journey road ahead.
Do we forget the teaching of our Brother Jesus Christ to the Will of our Father? Yes, our titles and our pride on the ‘wool’ we dressed may overshadow and blind us to the Word of our Brother had shared with us all. For all have been calling to be the disciples and priestly nation, Not to separate by the titles. We were once foolish and sinful, some been called by Him while others came to Him to seeking the TRUTH. So “… Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, until the end of the age.” Unless we have denied Him, which take on the depraved clothes and riches of fault promises from this world. Remember our Brother once said, If you LOVE Me: feed My poor people, care for My sick and unfortunate (those been abused and injured by injustice) people, bring back My broken-hearted and straying people. And “If you Love Me, you will keep (observe and Live) My Commandments.’ ‘Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in Heaven.’" If priests (priest, bishop, cardinal, and pope) have the power forgiving sins, then the priestly people (Faithful) also have the power to restore the priests' souls and the Communion House of God for us in His Name. Woe to those dictate the Holy Gifts from God came TO SERVE His people. “Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him to have a great millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of My heavenly Father.” For no man is holy, ONLY the Father in Heaven is Holy. Be humble ourselves, dress in the Truth clothes of lowly, examining ourselves with reconciliation to God and the people, and away from the wicked and evil ways. I tell there are sins will not be forgiving even we went to confession with the priest by the neglected or corrupted mind; while there are sins are forgiving before you went to confession at the church truthfully. He knows the secrets of hearts. One must understand and share the Truth confession (the Mercy and Compassion of God) with others, The Sacrament of Reconciliation. Through the Scripture and Tradition we have heard from our Brother Jesus Christ; “Lord, if my brother sins against me, how often must I forgive him? As many as seven times? Jesus answered, ‘I say to you, not seven times but seventy-seven times.’” It’s not mean that you let the brothers to continues SEVENTY-SEVEN TIMEs slaughtering the children(child or adults alike) of God. For we will be held accountable for our brother's sins against His Children through the witness of Holy Spirit that we covered up and be blind to the TRUTH. Do not forget, “For where two or three are gathered together in MY NAME (Not the Wicked nor evil ways names), there Am I in the midst of them.” Let it be Your Will Father, through Your Beloved Son and the Advocate’s Holy Spirit with my Mother Mary's the Mother of Glorious Hope...
Read moreThe catholic faith has been part of my help in recovery from an abusive relationship depression descending me to 3 suicede attempts. Mass and in church prayer was a great help in recovery from this deadly depression. Untill Covid quarantine. Panicking i emailed the diocese parish with my breif history. They recommended just stay home. I was left to my own devices nevertheless i did not need the catholic church to defend from suicide or rest of my recovery anyway. To be shoved off this way. I dong care what the governer said. They made no expeptions for really tough cases like mine. This and one other church gave me the shov off. Basically what covid has shown. The catholic church is useless. Oh Yeah they never returned the common cup. Alot they ever really...
Read moreEven before this church became a Catholic Church my family would bring visitors to see the impressive and beautiful structure. Now that it is a Catholic Church we not only get to bring visitors to tour the grounds but actually attend mass as well. More recently they unveiled the statue of Đức mẹ la Vang, a sacred symbol for Vietnamese Catholic. I know many aunts and uncles have shed tears in her presence. At her feet is where my mother would kneel on days when she feels overwhelmed.
While I prefer to attend smaller more intimate places of worship, I can't deny the impact this place has had on our community and family. As this is not the church I regularly attend, I can only attest to the occasional visit. It's worth...
