TGI Fridays — Restaurant in Orange

This is the second time this month that I have come into this restaurant and wanted to leave. Earlier this month, I sat down and waited for over 15 minutes before we decided we should get up and go somewhere else. Today, we walked in and sat down. And we waited and waited. We noticed there were no servers on the floor. Someone finally came up to us and just said she'd be right with us. Fine. Waited. Next thing you know, another customer walks in. They get seated next to us, and they get asked their drink options immediately. The customer service here isn't up to pare with what it should be. I shouldn't have to flag down my waitresses. I should be enjoying a nice dinner with my wife. The service shouldn't be so bad that It takes to writing this review. If my wife didn't want to continue eating here, I would have walked out again.

We ordered 1 drink with half lemonade half sprite. She brings two different drinks. 1 lemonade, 1 sprite.

We ordered the artichoke dip. Halfway through the chips, we got the taste of old chips that had been left in the bag already opened for way too long. The artichoke dip had something crunchy in it as if a chip had fallen into it... a while ago.

We both ordered the ribeye, and it came fast and with two sides. The mashed potatoes were really, really salty. Sadness. The broccoli was salty as well. My steak was medium rare, I give it a solid 4. It was pretty good. My wife didn't like hers, I tried it, it was blah. No flavor. And chewy.

Our waitresse came by one time during our meal so we couldn't even tell her we didn't like it... by now, we're sitting with half eaten plates waiting for sushi...

Do not order the sushi. It's gross. The fish looked like it had been through a meat grinder. Definitely not fresh. We ordered 1 order, and that's 8 rolls. We wanted only wanted two of the rolls to be with soy paper. She brings us 16 soy paper rolls. The rolls were salty and didn't taste anything like a Philly roll. Even the cream cheese had a weird taste. Not like cream cheese at all.

The waitress hasn't come back to ask anything about the sushi. Our waitress has disappeared again. Our waitress has passed us but just walks right by. I guess it's not obvious that we're done eating here....

TL:DR undercooked fish, over cooked burger, soggy fries and a waitress with zero energy or care.

Before going bowling I thought my GF and I should stop somewhere to get "decent" food rather than bowling alley grub and boy was I wrong.

To start things off the waitress we had was horrible. Zero energy and she talked super quiet. She was middle aged not in highschool and definitely not working her side hustle with that energy. I was nice the whole time and even when she dropped off the bill she just kind of dumped it there and it fell over and she didn't even come to pick it up even though she saw it happen.

The fish n chips my GF got was soggy. The outside was crunchy but the inside had this nasty soggy and gritty texture that left a weird residue in your mouth. She returned it and didn't get any more food. On top of that we asked for double fries no coleslaw and she still got coleslaw...

My burger was over cooked. The waitress never asked me how I wanted it done so I'm not sure what she wrong but it was beyond well done to the point of dry and chewy. I'm a military guy so I've had worse and ate half of it but had the other half to go.. I'm a nice guy and have a tough time refunding the entire meal and just leaving like we wanted to. Even still gave her a tip, nothing like she could've made but it was something.

The only good thing was the coke soda we shared. That was refreshing after mini golfing all morning.

10/10 will never go to Fridays again. Garbage service, garbage food, and zero...

The is the absolute WORST experience that my family has ever had!! It started out ok, only waited 20 mins to get seated. But once we sat down and ordered our food didn't come out at the Sametime. Each plate took 25 mins to come out one by one and there was 4 of us. We ordered steak, whiskey burger, chicken and shrimp and salad. We waited 25 mins for the first plate which was the steak which the server was very confident that it was chicken. Then 25 mins later got the so called" whiskey burger " even though it was a regular hamburger with a side of whiskey sauce. Got that sent back and waited again for the burger Then 25 mins LATER finally my salad came out ( which didn't have to be cooked). Now still waiting for the last plate the chicken and shrimp which took another 25 mins by then the steak was cold cause we wait for everyone to get their food to eat together. In between all this when we asked our server for anything like where is our food/drinks he would say " yea in one min" repeatedly but they would take long for anything we asked for. After 30 mins of waiting the " MANAGER" came out and asked what food didn't we get, cause he came in after the burger came back again. Then nobody came for yet another 15 mins. The manager made excuses and walked away mid conversation. The service was so terrible that we ended up leaving without paying. All on my brother's birthday. Bottom line is service needs to be better. Being loyal customers of theirs for year, we know...
