First time here, was asked by several OC locals to review so, today was the day. Took the whole family as usual and was very excited to try this place. The place was somewhat busy, the atmosphere was buzzing with music and people throughout. The womens bathroom needed attention, the mens restroom I was told was in good condition. Our server was friendly, but we had a few issues with our meals after he left for a break. 4 of the 5 meals were a build your meal concept, which gave a great selection to choose from. Two meals came out fine, one came incomplete and my meal was disappointing, I ended up not finishing it and bringing it home. My son ordered fries with his meal, we were told they were coming, they finally showed up when we asked for them, by that time 15-20 minutes had passed and my son had finished the rest of his meal. My salmon was overcooked, dry and bland, suprising too because, I ordered the Jamaican lime seasoning, I expected an explosion of flavor, nope. My skewer of bacon and scallops were just a little under, the portion was good though. My side of cheese mashed potatoes were burnt on the bottom which made the consistency of the potato, dough like and the rice pilaf was spongy, so it may have been sitting a bit or old. The fifth meal was a cheeseburger and fries off the kids menu, a very good portion, with no complaints. We did address the concerns with the temporary server and our original server when he came back from break, AND the person in charge was notified. He addressed the potatoes and said they specifically "make them that way to melt the cheese in them" but, my son ordered the same style potato and they were not burnt. Our temp server did get the mashed potatoes replaced but apparently didn't mention anything else about the other problems with my meal to his manager, so, we asked for a to go box and decided to leave. The price of our meals were fair considering the location, the portions and protein selections (fish/steak/seafood) but honestly, my meal should of been...

I had a great time at Market Broiler in Orange. We arrived at 7:00 pm on a Monday and I was surprised to see the place was busy! A good sign. There were a few parties ahead of us, but we were seated quickly.

The decor is maritime-themed with blonde woods, dark-leathers and metallic accents. I liked the layout of the space. There is a main dining room with booths interspersed with open tables. The dividers were high enough to evoke an intimate atmosphere. A sushi bar is located in front of the open kitchen with a display case.

Our server was terrific. He brought us bread and butter on a cutting board and went through the specials. He was very knowledgeable about the preparations of the dishes and he seemed genuine when he told us about his favorite entrees. He also gave good drink recommendations! I had a Broilermaker - located in the Beertails sections of the menu - a choice of draft with a shot of 1800 or Maker's Mark. I went with the Hefeweizen and Maker's Mark. I was a little disappointed when he returned with the draft and shot separately. I was under the impression they would be mixed together, but they went down just the same. My friend had a Manhattan which he said was excellent.

For starters we went with the sashimi platter and a Tuna Tataki Roll. The platter was excellent with a nice selection of salmon, fatty tuna, whitefish, shark, yellowtail and others. There were a total of 18 - 21 pieces - all a nice size and as fresh as could be. The tuna roll was interesting - made with avocado and shrimp as well as a tuna - it was sweet and savory.

The portions were large enough that our starters became our meal we were so full! I was thoroughly satisfied. I'm definitely putting this place on the short list and hope to return real soon. I'm thinking Halibut for...

I usually don't write a review about average business. I only write about the exteemes. First myself and my wife we came across this restaurant through Google, my wife wanted to try sea food dinner. We liked to have the king crab and NY steak, but we said let's start with a starter first so I picked the lobster meat roll 🍖 for my wife, and she picked the BBQ oysters for me. The waiter was very nice and received us with warm smile. She handed us the menus. And we let her know thT we don't drink alcohol. Bread and butter on the side were very salty. My oysters were 3 terrible ones. My wife 2 lobster 🦞 rolls each in a small bread roll with fried potatoes on the side. The potato chips 🍟were over cooked tried to force myself to eat but couldn't, we asked for the check. To make it worse, the charge was $30, but they charged us $40.16, When I asked the waiter to explain the discrepancy in the charge, she said that she would ask her manager, she came back with the correct charge $30.12, and we gave her $5 tip because she was nice and it wasn't her fault that the food was so bad, that I kept vomiting in the parking lot till I threw back all the food. We give them the benefit of the doubt for honest mistakes can happen. And we wish customers have a better luck than ours. But we want everyone well and...

This is my first time visiting Market Broiler restaurant and Red Lobster is not the only restaurant with Caribbean rock lobster. This restaurant, Market Broiler has rock lobster on the menu. Everything and this whole place is all clean and cozy. The staff are friendly service and they are nice. Especially they are good at listening to our requests like we need napkins, water refill and requesting food-to-go as long as you have to say the magic word, "Please." Everyone needs "please" to show the sincere politeness. Do not be rude and bossy. Just politely request what you need as long as you say "please" and remain calm while keeping up with good, calm, polite manners. You have to be on your best, good, calm, relaxing, polite, nice behavior and attitude as a good customer so the staff service will do excellent service to you. That was my advice to all of you if you wanted to be treated by staff's hospitality and excellent service. And as for the food I ate, they are extremely delicious and I scale that lobster roll taste 5 out of 5 stars. I'm rating that place 5 out of 5 stars if you are lobster lovers, foodie fans and foodie tasters. Especially it is one of the best seafood restaurants that have Maine lobster and Caribbean rock lobster.
