I recently had the pleasure of visiting the new In-N-Out location on State College Drive in Orange, CA, and it was an experience worth sharing. As an avid fan of In-N-Out, I have high expectations whenever I visit one of their locations, and this newly opened spot exceeded all of them. The combination of delicious food and stellar customer service made for an unforgettable experience.
The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed by the clean, bright, and welcoming atmosphere. The classic In-N-Out décor, with its red and white color scheme and vintage-inspired design, provided a nostalgic yet modern feel. The layout was spacious, allowing for a comfortable dining experience even during busy hours.
However, the highlight of my visit was the exceptional customer service, particularly from William, the cashier, and Juanita, along with the rest of the team. William greeted me with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm that instantly made me feel welcome. He was not only friendly but also knowledgeable about the menu, offering insightful recommendations and ensuring my order was taken accurately. His professionalism and positive attitude were refreshing and set the tone for a great meal.
Juanita, another standout team member, was equally impressive. She was attentive and courteous, ensuring that every customer felt valued and well taken care of. Her cheerful demeanor and willingness to go the extra mile truly enhanced the dining experience. It's clear that both William and Juanita take pride in their work and genuinely care about the customers they serve.
The rest of the staff at this location also deserves commendation. They worked efficiently as a team, maintaining a high level of service even during peak times. The kitchen staff did an outstanding job of preparing the food quickly without compromising on quality. My burger was cooked to perfection, with fresh, flavorful ingredients that make In-N-Out so beloved. The fries were crispy and delicious, and my milkshake was thick and creamy, exactly as it should be.
The drive-thru service was also exceptionally well-organized. Despite the high volume of cars, the line moved quickly, and my order was correct and piping hot when I received it. The drive-thru cashier, who I believe was also William, maintained the same level of friendliness and efficiency as he did inside the restaurant, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable.
What stood out most during my visit was the sense of teamwork and camaraderie among the staff. It was clear that they enjoy working together and are dedicated to providing a top-notch experience for their customers. This positive energy is contagious and makes for a welcoming and enjoyable environment.
In conclusion, the In-N-Out on State College Drive is a fantastic addition to the Orange, CA area. The combination of delicious, high-quality food and outstanding customer service makes it a must-visit location. Special thanks to William, Juanita, and the entire team for going above and beyond to make each customer's experience memorable. Whether you're a long-time fan of In-N-Out or a first-time visitor, this location is sure to impress. Highly...
Read moreTLDR: animal style double double was delicious from the fresh mustard-glazed patty to the gooey toppings to the toasted bun. An icon perfect for visitors. Look up secret menu before going. I enjoyed this location with the huge parking lot.
All the words: This store has a drive through that dumps into a huge parking lot, so i imagine when it's busy there's no line into the road, which is soothing for my nerves for some reason - it probably doesn't matter to everyone but I like it.. The building is beautiful and looks new like all InO seem to, and has pristine palm trees. Although I didn't find the crossing trees at this location, perhaps I missed them - the lot is large.
I treated a visitor, so we did the drive through, eat-in-car packaging consisting of half-wrapping the burgers and securing them in a thin cardboard box,. We got paper lap mats and were given enough napkins. Although the burgers look impossible, they weren't overly messy.
We both chose the double double animal style. Animal style takes a plain delicious cheeseburger and gourmetifies it. This brand has a very small menu, but part of the pleasure is they allow customization. And the variations have cute little names. Look up their secret menu before you go because it's not posted at the stores and that's part of the fun. It's a well known secret and they are happy to play along.
Safety is clearly important because they had a cooler filled with waters for team members working outside. The person who took our order had a spot of shade and plenty to drink.
I love the playful quirkiness. I love that they've always paid employees well. I love that their fries are cut fresh from whole potatoes on site and their burger meat is never frozen even in transit. It's these differentiators that sustain an icon and delight visitors. I've never taken anyone and had a disappointment - every time it's a vacation highlight. We all agree the hype...

In-N-Out Burger is not just a fast-food restaurant—it’s a cherished Southern California tradition known and loved by people around the world. As a loyal fan myself, I can say this has been my go-to spot for burgers for as long as I can remember. Over the years, my admiration has only grown as I’ve learned more about the company’s history and values.
Founded in 1948, In-N-Out has remained a family-owned business that prides itself on quality, simplicity, and consistency. The menu is famously straightforward: burgers, fries, sodas, and milkshakes. But don’t let the simplicity fool you—true fans know there’s an entire “Not-So-Secret Menu” that lets you customize your meal to your exact taste. Whether it’s ordering your burger “Animal Style” or getting your fries “well done,” In-N-Out invites creativity and personalization.
One of the most impressive things about In-N-Out is its global recognition. Despite having most of its locations in the western U.S., people from around the world know and love it. On my travels abroad, I often wear my collection of In-N-Out T-shirts, and they never fail to spark conversations. People immediately recognize the brand and associate it with Southern California. Many even ask if I’m from SoCal and express how much they miss the food.
There’s a special kind of comfort in visiting In-N-Out. For me, nothing says “welcome home” quite like seeing the iconic crossed palm trees and the red-and-yellow sign after a long trip. It’s a symbol of familiarity, quality, and the unbeatable taste of my...
