Rose Farm Museum — Attraction in Oregon City

The Rose Farm Museum was the second stop on our family’s local history day, and we’re so glad it was recommended to us. My husband and I brought our two kids, and all four of us enjoyed every moment.

Our guide, a former history teacher, clearly had a passion for sharing knowledge, and it really showed. We especially appreciated how he engaged our young kids in the conversation throughout the tour.

The home was full of beautiful furniture, lamps, art, and more. We were also lucky to catch a short term display of antique wedding dresses.

Despite living nearby our whole lives, we had no idea this gem existed until visiting the nearby McLoughlin House. We’re so grateful for the experience and our amazing guide. It was well worth the visit, and I’ll be telling...

Amazing and beautiful historical home.Such a cool piece of history to see. Update: 2024 heritage days made it a good revisit with the Oregon city mayor. Nice to see her in all the community museums and talk with her again. She is a real historian in our town. 🙂 I think she's pretty cool. 😊 And I want to thank her for showing me pictures of the remembrance ceremony of the cayuse 5. I am part cayuse in my Ancestry and it was a private ceremony but she blessed me a few pictures....
