Grocery outlet is an outstanding store. Just not this one. Went in for a bag of potatoes plain and simple. Stood in line and was yelled at by the checker twice. First time she yelled at the other line was open even though there was nobody there. I chose to stand in her line. when you walk up to the checkout there's an acrylic sheet separating you in the checker from virus spray, and when I asked her a question she turned and screamed at me that she couldn't hear me. I couldn't wait to get out of there. But most importantly I didn't appreciate her tone or her lack of customer service. There was another employee standing close by and they didn't say squat. I'm just glad I got out of there before I got mad and screamed at her because that never ends well. I will not shop at the store ever again although I do shop at grocery outlet, just the ones that don't belittle their customers because they're having a bad day. I'm not singling any individual out I'm not issuing a complaint I'm just leaving a review about the Oregon City grocery outlet where I was not treated professionally and with courtesy.
My home grocery outlet was the parkrose store and they worked very very hard to take care of their customers and they were busy all the time. My favorite grocery outlet is the St Johns store where the employees and the overall environment of the store is very positive and very pleasing. The grocery outlet in scappoose is also four stars but the new one that was just built St Helens is a beautiful store and it always is packed with lots of stuff.
I just don't like the Oregon City...
Read moreWe have been shopping here for many years. The owners are wonderful people who give so much back to our OC Community. The store has some of the best workers. They keep the store stocked and clean. You can find almost everything here. Now, maybe not the best on certain items but they try really hard to get those items in and the best quality for the cheapest prices they can. NOT all the time will you find items for cheaper. But, almost 95% of the time you will. I do almost all of my non-perishable items here. And some perishable items like meats and veggies. I will often do a two-step process when shopping. I go here first, find all the items off my list, as many as I can. Then, I hit the other places for on-sale or weekly sale items from Fred Meyer or Safeway. Usually those weekly items can't be beat as they are items that get you inside the store. Often times, Grocery Outlet will have some drinks items on sale for .07 cents and you can stock up a whole month on it for just under a 1 or 2 bucks! Look for red ticket items!
Overall, best place to shop first for as many items as you can off your shopping list. Super friendly staff, great owners, and I always love at the end, when they tell you just how...
Read moreI usually love this store. It's the only grocery store I shop at, for the most part. But, on Friday, May 31st, 2019, I was shopping there for a weekend road trip with my family and didn't have as good of an experience as I usually do. As a disabled person who can't stand for long periods of time, I was in a lot of pain after waiting for a mart kart for 27 minutes. I asked a cashier if they had a suggestion box or something of the sort for customer feedback and she went in the back to get another employee to help me. The woman who came out to talk to me was very rude and condescending. I felt that she was speaking down to me and as I was trying to ask her my question, she rudely walked away from me. I don't know if this lady was a manager or what but she really lacked customer service skills. I don't appreciate being spoken to in the manner of which she spoke to me, regardless of her position in the store. Especially after all the years of me shopping here. If I could review this lady herself instead of the store, I'd give her a...
