It's a tiny place as others have prefaced, but it has its perks. The binoculars are a plus and so is the tiny path that loops around. It would've been nice if an underpass led you to the Slough across La Grange..but that's probably not feasible given the undertaking. Surprisingly you will see some wildlife, but nothing overly exciting. It is what it is: a designated space within a major suburban area..but the building on the premises has been bordered up and at this trajectory, a few years from now it'll be abandoned & decrepit. The infrastructure around it isn't going to be in the best shape. I wager this all happened quite recently, it doesn't seem like this place will last the coming decade. Read moreDon't be fooled by the size of this place. Though a small place, it offers some of the best birdwatching. White egrets, Great Blue Heron, and more. Stationary binoculars are there, to help you get a close up view. Couple benches under shade awning is welcome. Saw a tiger swallowtail the other day. Beautiful flowers. Just a nice nature respite...
