Let me start by saying I’ve been coming to dechoes for years and have discovered some true designer gems. My favorite vintage Louis Vuitton blazer I scored for $100. A great gold silk nightgown I wear as a dress under jackets. The list goes on. Interesting inventory and the occasional designer jewel isn’t the problem. The problem is that in-person shopping, by nature, is an experience. And believe me when I say that the experience of shopping at this location deserves two stars on its very best day. The staff are TERRIBLE. Rude, uninterested, and belittling are three words that come to mind regarding the experience I had today…. while purchasing a gorgeous men’s Loro Piana jacket for $700 no less. I spotted it and immediately decided it would be an amazing Christmas gift for my husband, so I took it to the mirror in the back of the store to try it on for scale. I took off the bomber jacket I was wearing to do so, setting it down on the back desk behind which they have some designer handbags displayed. Within seconds, a female employee began to scold me curtly, saying “you can’t go behind the counter”. I told her that I didn’t and was just setting my jacket down to try on the item, which was met with a full up-and-down body scan glare. I ended up purchasing the jacket, as the deal was too good to pass up, but felt like crying during the entire transaction due to this awkward and accusatory exchange. I’m sure this retail business deals with petty theft, but I am a true patron of Orlando small businesses and the fact that my character was questioned via a baseless accusation was deeply upsetting. Thank you for the jacket and for the HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS worth of merchandise over the years, but note to the store’s owner: I will not be returning due to this experience. And based on the other negative reviews I’ve read, I’m not...
Read moreI had a bit of a strange experience here when I came to consign my items. I brought in 2 huge bags of items of mostly designer/higher end revolve brand type items in mostly new with tag condition and even brought in a Silvia Tcherassi piece new with tags and they didn't want hardly any of it. They only wanted 1 Etro bag they only wanted to give me a couple bucks for when it retails for 1200. They also wanted 2 wallets a Vivienne Westwood one and a Dolce & Gabbana one. Lastly a pair of Dolce & Gabbana heels brand new no box and wanted to give me a whopping 117 for all these high end pieces. I was shocked they didn't even want to consign the rest. I don't know if they just don't know anything about luxury fashion and merchandising or they were profiling me and thought all my stuff was stolen or something? Because I found it also strange that they seemed surprised I wanted to buy something and surprised I wanted to use an Amex card. I don't want to think that they looked at me and thought I couldn't possibly be the original owner of these items so they must be stolen. However I can't think of any other reason why they would reject 2 huge Ikea bags worth of designer goods. They even passed on Manolo Blahnik heels and a brand new Longchamp bag. Very strange experience. UPDATE I went to Style Encore in Melbourne and they paid me a fair market value for my stuff I made 500 selling to them just a fraction of the pieces I...
Read moreIf I could give this a negative star review I would. So my husband & I just moved to Metro West Orlando , Florida with our kids and we went looking for a place for me to part with my Louis bag and first impressions with this place was as soon as I walked into their place of business people looked at me and my husband you could hear them whispering about “fake” I don’t know if it was because we have a lot of tattoos but when someone goes into a place of business to make a business transaction I would expect professionalism. I purchased my Luis bag in the Easton Mall Louis Vuitton store in Easton, Columbus, Ohio . For $2,230.00 This young blonde lady maybe took two minutes to look at my purse and continues to call my name and say we can’t authenticate it without a receipt . I don’t think this is real , I don’t keep my receipts after 3/4 months . Or even know where it would be if I had it after a 15 hour move from one state to the other. I always believe in the benefit of the doubt and to not knock anything or a place until you try it . But I will not recommend this place to anyone . It was very clear that the lady doesn’t know what she is doing and or let alone talk about or even know how to properly...
