I gave it 3 stars, only due to the fact that I thought it was way too pricey, for red snapper fish-plus I did not like that whomever dropped off morning boxes of fish, before stores opening a month ago from today, sittingin the heat, on the sidewalk, in front of store, brought about flies flying around and landing on defrosting fish. GROSSED ME THE H#$$OUT.(I should have called the health dept.)
I do not trust any fish product inside, after I observed this and for those inflated prices, I might as well have driven to Lombardi's, on Fairbanks Ave., in winter park.
Listen my viewers, for the best fish and variety of fish and great reasonable prices: I will continue to shop at, " Frank and Sons in Apopka. A local yocal establishment have been there for many years now-they are amazing and can order you whatever, if they do not have it and there grocery store items compliments the seafood you purchase, with a large variety of seasonings and breading.. I received this review request only because I was next door , at carribean meat market...in which I absolutely give 4 and a half stars too.
Sorry ocean fish I was not in the area to shop...
Read moreThey're very dishonest, twice they had sold me rotten fish and if you're don't look at the scale they will jack up the price without you even notice. Check your fish to see if they are fresh as they always gonna sell you the bad ones, when you get home to clean them that's how you will notice. Today I spent $80 on some parrot fish all were bad rotten, can't return them because I'm a bit away but I will call them in the morning to tell them my frustrations. I wish there were other fish market around otherwise I wouldn't go there. Health department needs to check them out. Always keep your receipts too because they can increase the price and they don't want you to know. They can be rude at times. I'm writing this review so others...
Read moreThe person at the register this evening was very rude to me. I asked him a general question because I was not familiar with using a gift card as a form of payment. I asked him what I should do because I dont have a pin for the card. His response was “ its your card not mine” with such an attitude, I thought that maybe he did not understand my question well. When I asked him again his attitude got worse and he asked me to get out of the store if I dont like his response. The rest of the staff had to apologize to me on his behalf. I went to shop at Publix then and asked the same question, the cashier told me to hit the Enter button and that was it. I never experience anything like that in this business, but today they lost a...
