Service Review: Disappointing Experience at Vibes Nail Spa
I decided to treat myself to a mani-pedi today—biggest mistake! I selected a peach-colored dip, expecting my fingers and toes to match. Instead, I ended up with pink toes and peach fingers—a clear mismatch.
Upon noticing the issue immediately, I returned to the salon to address the obvious discrepancy. Rather than acknowledging the mistake and offering a prompt fix, the staff made excuses. The woman at the front insisted that they "don’t mix colors," instead of simply correcting the issue. When I turned to the young man for a solution, he doubled down on the resistance and even called me "picky"—how rude!
I had them correct the color, but even then, no one came back to check on me. I was left completely unattended, and I only left the shop when I was done—without so much as an apology or a final check-in from the staff.
Needless to say, I won’t be back. Customer service is about making things right—not dismissing concerns, blaming the customer, and failing to follow through. Follow up response to message below 7/27/2025. Thank you for your message. This is exactly the kind of issue I was referring to—another example of the lack of ownership that’s becoming far too common.
As I explained to your technician, I was the one actively trying to identify and resolve the problem. I repeatedly asked how we could fix the issue, yet the response I received was dismissive and unhelpful.
To suggest that I was speaking down to your staff is not only inaccurate—it’s offensive. I teach customer service professionally, and I know the difference between assertiveness and disrespect. What I experienced was a failure to listen, a lack of accountability, and ultimately, poor treatment.
It’s clear that resolving customer concerns is not a priority at your store, and that’s unfortunate. I won’t be returning, and I sincerely hope others take note of how your team handles conflict...
Read moreMy husband and I tried a new nail salon. I'll start with the things I like. Place appeared clean, and I liked that the pedicure and nail areas are separate.
My husband had a very nice lady who took her time on his feet and nails. Yen was her name, and we left a very nice tip, but unfortunately. I'm sure it was shared with the lady who did my nails and feet.
The young lady who serviced me seemed more interested in herself and had a conversation with the tech who completed my husband feet. My pedicure was mediocre, I had to hold my own leg up at times, and she didn't use all the materials she brought out for my deluxe pedicure. My nails were a fill-in. As she was filling my nails, the tip of the machine spun off the tool and hit me in between my fingers (glad it wasn't my eye). I had to ask her for something cold to put on my hand because it stung. My nails were ugly, and paint began to peel 2 days after having them done, and now, on day 7, a nail broke in half while I was in the shower. Which compelled me to write this review.
I can say this, the young lady had a set of nails on herself that were long. She couldn't grip or handle any of her equipment or my hands and feet accurately.
Do better, I do not remember this person's name, but her booth sits on the corner of the entryway leading into the...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst nails Ive EVER had! Me and my husband both just moved here, decided to give them a try, that was a bad decision. I knew once we started what I was in for, they were using disposable sanding bands on multiple clients as well as not disinfecting metal tools between. I was sat with a girl named claire(i think) and she was very inexperienced which was obvious by the way she was being supervised. My nails are weak(due to runny acrylic because she wasn't mixing the right consistency on beads), crooked as heck, there's acrylic chunks everywhere on the under side that I had to pick off, lumpy and just all around bad. I have had long nails more than 15 years and Im a working cosmetologist myself so I thought Id go back and let them rectify it on day 5( would need a new set because the acrylic is so weak) and the manager said "they look great, we will file them for you but thats it." He was extremely unprofessional and literally laughed at me when I said the nails are bad and Id like them fixed, mind you my husbands nails also looked horrible. So now Im out $170 and have nothing I can do about it. I do not have a history of complaining, especially about a fellow cosmo worker but this place is bad news. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY AND JUST GO...
