Starbucks — Restaurant in Orlando

I am a young disabled man with a service animal that was forced to leave the Starbucks patio because the time I desired to make my coffee purchase for my 2 hour drive back home up north was not made within the Starbucks managers preferred time. My behavior on the patio consisted of me doing work on my computer using my own wifi even; for a local client and when I was done, I planned to grab a coffee and go as I usually do on long business trips. Instead, the "manager" said if I do not make my purchase IMMEDIATELY that I must leave immediately and stood over me like she was going to hit me if I did not heed her warning. At this point I had never even entered the store and never been anything but nice and smiley when the first girl came out asking if I needed service and I said "no, not at this time". I was on the porch, alone; with one other customer all the way across, bothering no-one, minding my business. Now, it is hard to force food or liquid into your body when you have a disability which both mentally and physically does not enable you to do so. So, if I'm finishing up work for a client (which is hard enough for me to do on the day to day due to my disease) and leaving right after, I suppose the policy is that I am supposed to purchase a hot beverage way before I leave and leave with it being cold. But if that is the case, why do they have chairs and tables? I do business at Starbucks numerous times a month and have NEVER seen anything remotely like this occur. I feel like I was being stalked, singled out & discriminated against by someone on a power trip. The first employee circled me at least 6 times before sending her manager out to ask me to leave for no reason. It is highly possible that there was discrimination here against my service animal who's behavior was impeccable as always. (he's a service animal) Either way, the people here are not very friendly and demanding someone who is disabled to do something on your time that they cannot do (for medical reasons) is straight up bullying. I always saw Starbucks as a place to finish up paperwork, grab a coffee and go when it's a long trip. This whole situation made no logical sense to me or anyone I know. I do not like being physically threatened. This woman was about 5 times my size and appeared violently threatening, not happy or humane at all. I felt scared and that is just insane. I have shopped and done more business at other Starbucks restaurants from here to NYC and never have I ever been treated like this in my entire life. There was a time when I used to spend a ton of money at Starbucks and used to sit there all day working on my computer and buy breakfast lunch and dinner sometimes. I drink a lot of coffee at that time. Until… The entire brand has been taken over by arrogant ridiculousness of rules and bad customer service.

Today I was approached by one of the workers and asked if I was going to order, which I was and when I said, I didn’t know she told me that they had passed a new rule that said if you don’t order, she was gonna have to ask me to leave. I was so setback and thought that was very ridiculous and I expressed that nicely. “All she could do was apologize, but those are the new rules.” I’m so glad that I did not spend my money investing stock in this company because it looks like they’re losing and closing stores left and right as they make everything so uncomfortable for their customers and give us low quality product At high prices. I have chosen to wean myself off of coffee and I switch to tea. However, I will not pay five dollars for tea at Starbucks when a teabag cost less than $.50 in hot water is free. The math just doesn’t add up so I’m moving on to find Another place. I could relax and work at. Very bad service and...

I order one Ice americano decaf and one Nitro Cold Brew with Cinnamon Oatmilk as always for past 6 month or so. Both easy on the ice. Coffee tasted watery and not the same starbuck coffee i paid and enjoyed all along. So I ask the girl to make new coffee. She said it is because ice melted. Well, No, and still, it is not the same coffee I am used from Starbuck so asked her to please make new coffee for me. She than charged me whole new coffee and wait for me to pay. I asked her to please just make new coffee. She then told me to throw those coffee away myself and turned around and started making coffee. I felt that I was some sort of scammer who is trying to take advantage of something. Well, this is not the end of story, I finally got new coffee and it tasted good as we have known. Little strong but it was good. That night me and my wife could not sleep. We stayed up all night unitl 7AM next morning, just could not sleep, very painful. My wife who does not drink caffeine (reason for the decaf) were having heart pounding all night. Could she somehow caffeine bomb us by putting extra shots, I would not know... With just order of these two coffee made my day...
