Oaks of Lakebridge — Attraction in Ormond Beach

Let me start off by saying all of the current staff at oaks are amazing people. The ladies working in the office are always smiling and welcoming. Anytime I have a problem or question they’re quick to help me. The maintenance men are always very nice and quick to fix problems. Even my dog loves them!! I mean it makes my morning seeing my dog get so happy when they drive by and pet her. I have never had one issue with ANY of the staff. For the location & safety of the community the price is honestly unbeatable. You cannot find anything in this price range, for this area, with this high of a rating. They have started renovations on the outside of the buildings and let me just say it’s already starting to look amazing. The color and siding changes on the buildings is exactly what it needed. Was definitely time to get rid of the tan paint. The community is very quiet, and the walls aren’t super thin (unless I just have really good neighbors) but even when playing music loudly you cannot hear it outside of my front door. I have full confidence in walking my dog even at night, and have never questioned my safety once. Super close to every food place imaginable as well as schools & parks. I wish they could add a dog park somewhere in the complex however I understand it’s a liability risk and for those reasons they can’t. Really my only flaw with it. Other than that amazing...

I moved here in July 2020, days after my husband passed away. I’ve never lived in an apartment until then. From day one, it has been home to me until July 31 of this year. My 4 years here have been memorable and it was bittersweet to move. I loved living here! The community was always so friendly, office staff amazing, and I can’t exclude the maintenance guys. They are awesome! What I loved mostly about this community is the beautiful landscaping and the coziness of the community. I felt safe here and enjoyed walking the community often with my grandson, whether on foot or in his carriage, it was always nice and he always loved to go sit by the pond and loved the pool, where he learned to swim!! He had many sleepovers as an infant to now. Since he is now 3 yrs old, I wanted to move a little closer to him. If you are looking for a place to call home, I encourage you to stop by and take a look for yourself. This being my first apartment experience EVER…..absolutely loved it! I have resided at the Oaks of Lakebridge Apartments, and I feel compelled to share my less-than-pleasant experiences, especially concerning the property manager, Monica. There have been several instances where I felt not just unwelcome but actively harassed. What's even more concerning is the apparent disdain for children, making them feel particularly unwelcome.

Monica's communication style often veers into the inappropriate, including the use of profanity, which is not the professional demeanor I would expect from someone in her position. Furthermore, the threat of arbitrarily raising rent as a form of intimidation is both unprofessional and unsettling.

I've meticulously documented these incidents, and I urge prospective tenants to be cautious and well-informed before considering a lease here. It's my hope that upper management takes these concerns seriously and works toward creating a more hospitable environment for...
